This smart, brand new hotel is in Badalona, just a 15-minute train ride from central Barcelona. Free Wi-Fi is provided. A very important point for us is easy parking and we were very happy with the parking for this hotel which was in a public park immediately below the hotel with hotel access from the parking station. Though not cheap the convenience, security and access were welcomed. The view from the room was good and it was an easy walk to the beachfront where there were many choices for restaurants and bars both through the afternoon and night. The staff were professional and helpful and the room was clean.
Located in front of Pep Venture Metro Station, Be Dream Hostel is just 15 minutes from Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia. It offers rooms with air conditioning and heating and free WiFi . The location. Electric lockers. Friendly staff. Table tennis and a shop around the corner

Set in Badalona, 1.4 mi from Forum Beach and 0.7 mi from Shopping Center Màgic Badalona, Metro & Beach Apartments offers accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden. The hostess was very friendly and responded very fast. Would stay here again. The terrace was a nice place to relax and have breakfast. Had everything we needed.

Badalona is more of a suberb of Barcelona and despite the lovely beach is quite shabby. You have to cross the railway line over a bridge to get to the beach. Parking is a nightmare. It's not the little tourist town I imagined it would be, must research better next time.
Knightmare, cars crashing into us and then the political protest completely ruined our holiday and return flight home, having to leave the hire car stranded on motorways then having to walk down motorways to get to the airport which was too late for flight and missed so we had to sleep in the airport a day, worst trip ever
We came for SkateLove Barcelona festival. Badalona is excellent for skating with long smooth promenades by the sea. We enjoyed our stay but didn't see too much of Badalona as we were mostly at skating events by the beach. We had delicious vegan food in a couple of restaurants. Our hotel was very nice. A friendly place to stay.
The seafront area is great with lots of bars and restaurants. smooth paving for walking, roller skating. The beach area is clean. You can use the metro or the train and is about 20 mins by metro to Barcelona and 1.30 mins to the airport. It is cheaper to stay here than in Barcelona. There is not to much night life. You have to get the hotel to book the taxi. The taxis will not come to individuals on the street due to high robbery rates of taxi drivers. You have to be careful of pickpockets. You all so have to be mindful where you leave your bag. Look out for distraction techniques. Good array of local shops.
Badalona is very chilled and the beach is fantastic not too crowded the local people are generally friendly. It's relatively easy to get around town we bought the 10 euro pass for 10 trips which is very good. For a seaside town I was expecting much more seafood but I found it lacking, the general food is around bread sausage or ham, but I suppose this is what the locals enjoy. Barcelona itself is very expensive in comparison to other holidays I've been on so make sure you are packing the heavy wallet. A very dog friendly place which comes with the pooop on the pavement.
I was there for the rollerskating festival, SkateLoveBarcelona, otherwise I would prefer to stay in BCN. I could not find any really great restaurants in Badalona, just mediocre ones. However, there were not the crazy tourist crowds as in BCN. Beaches are beautiful too.
Close to everything: beaches, shops, restaurants, train & metro station Very quiet at nightime
