Blanes is a beautiful friendly fishing town with lovely traditional Spainish tapas restaurants located along the sea front with beautiful views. There is an abundance of shops. The people are very friendly and helpful. It’s a must place to visit if you want to slow down from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Perfectly located for visiting Barcelona, Girona, and exploring the beaches of the Costa Brava. Compared to other towns along the coast towards Barcelona, Blanes has a well-preserved historic center and a nice landmark in the form of a castle ruin. For romantic beaches, head east. Cala Treumal and Sa Boadella are beautiful.

Blanes is a lovely little town with friendly people and easy to travel about. There are some beautiful gardens not far away, one in walking distance and another by bus. It's easy to visit Girona by bus. There ard plenty of restaurants, my tip is to look further away from the beach and town centre to find places locals go for the best food.

The town is not very big or crowded, which suited us.
The town is not very big or crowded, which suited us. However, it has enough stores and restaurants. It has a wide and uncrowded beach. A very big advantage for those traveling by car is the large number of free parking spaces. Parking lots are located from 100m to 300m from the beach. Neighboring towns fare worse in this respect. The advantage is access to the suburban railroad, which took us to Barcelona for a day's sightseeing. In the summer, two amusement parks were available in Blanes (one near the parking lot - large, the other closer to the port). We missed the e-bike rentals. We had to go to a neighboring town to rent them. We did not use the clubs, so we do not judge their quantity or quality. We could certainly return to Blanes someday when there is an opportunity.

Very pleasant small town unspoilt because the tourist area is in it's own district away from the old town. Situated on a bay with a long esplanade and a sandy beach.
Very good choice of bars and restaurants offering local and international menus.

It is a nice city, but I would not go there again.
It is a nice city, but I would not go there again. I went there to spend time on the beach and it wasn't perfect. There is only one restroom on the beach. There are not enough lifeguards on the beach. The sea is rough afternoon often.

- The host - Neus was exceptional. She was very polite, helpful and good natured human being. Even helped to get a taxi to BCN airport in few mins.
- The sea view felt was out of this world especially during the night when moon was shining.
- Beds were hard & comfy.
- Good kitchen equipments.
- From Blanes train station, you can take L4 to reach this apartment with walking distance.

The staff were incredibly helpful with all manner of requests, such as early check-in and airport transfers.
The beds were super-comfy and the material clearly very high quality. The whole hotel was stylish and chic, and it’s in a perfect location for Blanes. Pilar on the front desk was exceptionally helpful!
Would 100% come again!

Comfortable, well equipped apartment in the center of Blanes. Communication with Monica was fantastic and we loved everything about the apartment. We look forward to returning in the future.
