Everything was great. Gazpacho soup was amazing, and so was the chorizo. None of the staff could speak English, but we understood each other because everyone tried hard 😀. Everything was perfectly clean.

Very clean! The washing machine is a huge plus! The front door locks and your room as well. Feels very safe for solo travel on the Camino! Easy check in and a few restaurants in town with in walking distance.

A lovely old building with some nice features. Good food and popular with the locals. It's always the staff that make the difference and reception, bar and waiters were exceptional. On a cold day the dinning room was cosy but our room was cold and this was resolved quickly.

We loved everything about this property, it was spacious and very clean, and Kali the lady handling the property was very welcoming and helpful with the loveliest attitude. Would definitely stay here again hopefully for more days.

Miguel was awesome checking in. Answered all questions even before I asked. Showed me around. Made sure I was comfortable and satisfied with my room and the facilities. On-site laundry was an added bonus for someone walking the camino.

Happy Hostal Carrales is located in Burgos’ Old Town, just 1148 feet from the Museum of Human Evolution. It offers simple rooms with a TV.
