Calella is a lovely town, close enough to the sights of Barcelona. Faded somewhat since Covid, with more than a few closed bars & hotels. Thankfully many of the closed ones were the raucous British football bars which has improved the peace at night. Great mix of nationalities. Little land train running around the town is a great way to see the sights

A typical tourist city: lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, souvenir shops. And it's just crowded with tourists, day and night. If you are sensitive to noises during the night - better find a place somewhere else. This town does NOT sleep at night :-) The city beach is clean and nice, although very crowded too. Cafe/restaurant prices are rather high, while quality is okayish. Car parking is very very difficult. Never park on "yellow" zones, police monitors it 24/7! Trains (or metro?) operated by "Rodalies de Catalunya" is not reliable. Be prepared for trains cancelled without any announcements, and no expectation of the next train. Nobody knows anything, the best advice you get is to watch the platform display carefully, and run to the platform when it's updated. While planning your trip, consider potential 30m-1h delays.

Callala spilt in two two, old and new, both different. Old town narrow streets with cafes, restraunts and shops, different atmosphere altogether with New town. Best way of seeing it for the first time is to use the electric street train , really cheap. about 3 Euro. Plenty of choice re eating places in both old and new. We were all inclusive but we were glad we tried the locals.

Calella is a great place to visit.
Calella is a great place to visit. It is a proper working town so tourists and locals mix well. It has beautiful architecture - especially the main church, and the shopping centre is fun to alk through. The beaches are large and family friendly. There are nudist areas to the south of the main beach past the rocks and round the coast a little.

Lovely beach resort , the "old" town is quite lively with many shops bars and restaurants , a nice market on Saturday. Nice long beach and some nice walks close by , very friendly people. The train along the coast is great and takes you to all the towns nearby quickly and cheaply

We did not have any breakfast or dinner options but they sure looked amazing. Beds if you are tall may not be the best option for you as they are a bit short but I am short so for me all good. Great Reception, great help, great greeting. Would have not been more satisfied, Surprised as the beach was a stones throw away and they even include Beach, Spa towels, robes and slippers. My kind of Hotel. Will be back again you can count on it. Location was excellent and its a boutique hotel which I love. Do not miss out!!

The hotel is very comfortable and facilities are new. Location is great, just one street of the beach. It is very convenient to use the huge and modern Spa facilites, included in the hotel price. They are linked to the hotel, even if the are outside the hotel and they are opened to the public. You have a car parking just next to the hotel, at a daily price of 12 euros if you stay in the hotel. Staff is outstanding, very friendly.

The room was pretty clean but the bed was a bit hard for me. They have a buffet for dinner and I think the buffet is overpriced. The food was not that good. However, the whole service and the staff were very nice and helpful. Comparing to hotel prices around the area this seem pretty good. If I need to comeback I will stay there again.
