Staff were very helpful ( and spoke English). The room was very comfortable and having a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities was a bonus. The mini bar drinks were much appreciated at the end of a day of walking the Camino. Highly recommend .

Zumaia is a famous place for wild nature and relatively high waves. The hotel is located on on of the most beautiful places, the beach is 2 walking minutes away. The view from the room windows is dierctly to the ocean and hils located near by. The city is small (achievable in around 5-7 minutes by walking). If you would like to be alone in the nature, in 10 minutes you will find peacefull place around. It is a paradise to those who like wild nature and small beaches. The water boiler was inside the room (tee and coffee available as well), additional bonus point. The hotel is also very flexible: if you do not need havy breakfest, you could take a very good coffee from the bar and some cake. You also reserve dinner at the hotel (which is tasty and inexpensive) . If you travelling by car, there is free private parking space at the hotel (another very big plus)

Nice town square for having a coffee / beer / food after a tough days walking. Beach a few mins walk away and ideal for a swim. Train station right in centre of town and we used a taxi to ferry us to and from our hotel.

A very stylish traditional place to spend the night. The service was excellent with the 2 very friendly ladies (mother and daughter). Very nice and clean room. The dining room is very beautiful and the food was very delicious. We were also shown a short cut to Deba.

I loved everything. From the spacious room, comfortable beds, to the closeness to the beach. I am dreaming to go back again to spend more time there. The food was also amazing and it is a pet friendly hotel.

Location of Albergue is beautiful, however, be aware, if you are walking the Camino, it is a 2 hour walk from Deba. Staff were brilliant, very helpful.
