Cristina swept us up in her exuberant hospitality the moment we walked into this old castle, and she was always there to make sure we were comfortable, happy, well-fed, and paying attention to the special features of the building: the original floors and stairs, and the paintings by the general who bought the castle originally. This inn appears to be THE place for big weddings and other celebrations in the area, and there are large rooms on the first floor to accomodate hundreds of guests, but the dining room for hotel guests is intimate and elegant. And there is a small bar by the entrance where you can have drinks and tapas. The feeling of hospitality extends to every one of the staff we met, and especially to the owner, Enrique, who personally mapped out a day trip for us to visit castles, monasteries, churches, and interesting walled towns nearby.

The location is a perfect hub for visiting wineries in Ribera Del Duero. Breakfast was quite sufficient and served beautifully in the main dining hall. Dinner was amazing - don't miss the lamb! Quiet surroundings, lots of space to relax - both inside and out. We were well taken care of by the gracious and kind hostess. A great value.

We were just passing through the area and needed a decent place to stop for the night, and this place filled the requirement very well. Easy to reach from the highway, clean, good value, an attached bar for dinner and breakfast. The bar was very typical with platos combinados and toast or pastry for breakfast - all for a very reasonable price. Both the hotel and the bar are popular with workers who stay temporarily in the area. Free on-street parking was available in the area. We parked around back.
