We had a great time. Rooms were very clean, spacious, great shower, amazing view. Restaurant was nice with a very good small breakfast. Service was excellent and friendly. And starting at the hotel we did two beautiful walks. 100% would recommend

A beautiful B&B with fabulous decor and the most wonderful views. The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating offering tea, coffee and cake on arrival. A fabulous home made breakfast with a great selection. The B&B is situated at the top of a hill quite far from the village of Mallavia. This isn't a bad thing as Mallavia isn't nice and in my view not worth visiting.

What a great little hotel nestled just outside Elorrio overlooking the mountain and the local church (don’t worry, the bells do not start until 8.15am!) Although it is opposite an Eroski distribution centre we never experienced noise or disturbance throughout our 4 day stay! The clever planting of trees also made it disappear from the hotel. All the staff were truly wonderful and could not do enough to make our stay perfect! Everywhere was beautifully clean and well decorated. The rooms were old fashioned but extremely comfortable with everything you needed. The shower was always the right temperature and lots of pressure too. The beds were extremely clean and linen changed daily. It was very hot during our stay but the hotel was cool and the veranda was a perfect place for breakfast and evening drinks. We used the restaurant twice - the food was well cooked with lots of choice and although not the finest of dinings it suited our needs and we never left hungry! We were visiting Bilbao to watch the Rugby Champion Cup where accommodation in the city was highly inflated because of the rugby weekend. The hourly bus service to Bilbao was just over a hour and was under €5 each way so saving ourselves a fortune over the weekend! We can’t thank the staff enough for all their help and excellent service throughout our stay - thank you!

Decor - very quirky. Rooms all different. Nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Early checkin. Safe cycle storage. 2 doors away from very good restaurant - Sirimiri - excellent lunchtime meal. Bergara - lots of old buildings, fascinating museum about Wolframite and Enlightenment movement in Bergara (lots of hands-on features), not at all boring !

Elgeta is a small town with limited dinner options. There are three bars in town where you can get a sandwhich or small dinner. What makes the place special is the location - with excellent hiking at your doorstep and wonderful cycling. All within 45-70 minutes from San Sebastián and Bilbao. What’s not to like?

The place is clean and the hostess is very helpful and friendly. The views from the front of the hotel are amazing, with nice weather it is pleasant to enjoy the outdoor space. Breakfast is quite nice. Free parking is on the territory. We stayed in the basement room with the fireplace and it was very cosy. However, since the room is the basement it could be quite damp and cold during Autumn and Winter. It was middle of September, so it was still fine. Also the fireplace kept us warm and entertained in the evenings.

Convenient on street parking immediately adjacent to the hotel. Very comfortable king size double bed. The dinner was tasty well cooked local fare. It suited our purpose for a night stop before catching the ferry back to the UK.

Authentic, comfortable and friendly hotel. Really enjoyed our stay - a welcome stop after cycling there from Bilbao. What was refreshing about the hotel was that it was a genuine country hotel not a bland chain.
