Located in Espinal-Auzperri, 5 miles from Roncesvalles, Apartamentos Irati has a garden and free WiFi. The apartment has a grill. A bicycle rental service is available at Apartamentos Irati. Central location, friendly and helpful staff, lovely accomodation, we would happily stay there again.
Hotel Rural Loizu is set in Burguete, 28 mi from Pamplona and the nearest airport, and just 12 mi from the beautiful Irati Forest. All rooms offer international channels on a flat-screen satellite TV.... This is a family run hotel and the staff did their best for all guests at a very busy time. The room and bathroom were large. The location was perfect for us as pilgrims on the Camino Le Puy as the route was just 100 meters away. The offered a great Pilgrim's menu for dinner at a very reasonable 10 euro. There is also a separate lounge for anyone wanting a bit of space to read, relax or play the piano. It was a very comfortable overnight stay.
We loved our stay in Espinal-Auzperri. Everything was top-notch. The rooms were well-equipped, spacious, and clean. Pillar was wonderful, as was her staff. It's been a couple of months, but I'm embarrassed I don't remember the cleaning lady's name - she was so friendly and obliging, as was Pillar. The place itself is set in the Pyrenees, not too far from the French border. It is so relaxed that the only thing that made us exhausted was watching the many pilgrims pass by with their backpacks. There are two places to eat. The larger one heading out of the village has a bar and restaurant. Joseba made us feel right at home. Then, in the middle of the village is Iggy's place. Iggy was so knowledgable and helpful. What a fantastic place, filled with amazing people. We left a piece of our hearts there. Gracias por todo, Pillar y todos.
It’s a small village, located right on the Camino de Santiago, in the Basque country of Spain a very quiet and peaceful village . With a fully equipped kitchen , for our evening meal we purchased meats, cheeses, bread and other treats at a local bakery.
