Roca Blanca is located in the beautiful mountain town of Espot, in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is a traditional property with a gym, sauna and a free Wi-Fi area. Very friendy staff. Perfect location, very close to the taxi stop, which makes it a very good starting point to visit the national park. Very good breakfast, clean rooms. Has its own parking.
This hotel is in the center of Espot, 1.9 mi from the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas and free parking. - Very friendly staff - Very good location - Delicious breakfast - Lovely view from the room - Good parking
Apartaments l'Arrel is located in Espot, next to Aigüestortes National Park and 1.2 mi from Espot Ski Resort. There is a free swimming pool nearby and it is easy to park near the apartments. We spent there a few nights. The location is great, close to restaurants, shops and just 5/10mins by car from the ski resort and the Aiguestortes and estany de Sant Maurici national park. The apartment was clean and warm.
Offering river views, Càmping Riu Gelat in Espot has accommodations, a bar, a shared lounge, a garden, ski-to-door access and a terrace. I loved staying in my tent next to the river. It really blocked out any random noises of conversations happening nearby.
Providing free Wi-Fi, Alba D'Esteve. Casa Rural is located in Espot, 2.5 mi from the Aigüestortes i Estany of Saint Maurici National Park. The country house offers a house and an apartment. The facilities are excellent. Its a great and spacious place for a family. Big rooms, outdoor activities for children. The place itself is part of the vacation and staying in is fun and enjoyable.
Small mountain village that works as a great base to visit the Natural Park. Plenty of information about hiking routes to do there in the tourist information office. Good services in the village: small supermarket with all the basic goods you might need. Some good restaurants from a burger place, a pizza place and others... Taxi services to go up the park from the centre of the village. There is also a good bakery and a farmacy across the street from it. Basically, Espot covers all your basics.
We used Espot as a base to snowshoe in the adjacent National Park. This is a small, high-mountain village, which is very busy in the summer months, and in the ski-season, but can be very quiet at other times. There are a sizeable number of self -catering apartments and about four mid-size hotels in the village, as well as a pharmacy, outdoor shop and small bakery. There are two small grocery shops, and several small restaurants. It is along drive to the village from other parts of Spain, or over the pass from Vielha, but the scenery is stunning. It is an outdoorsy-place, so there's not much to do if you don't walk or ski!
Great place to stay if you are planning hiking in the national park around. We also did some rafting which was amazing. There are some nice resturants there. Look for Al Dente - the place offers great pizzas, and self made pasta filled with all kinds things. If you are planning for a long stay - better find a large supermarket on your way. The one in Espot is pretty small.
What an absolutely beautiful place. Worth the long, winding drive. Restaurants are cheap and delicious. The park is a 10-minute drive away and worth every second you can be there. I would've liked to stay longer and do more of the hikes! It was pretty warm during our stay but I hear that's a bit unusual. I would love to go back!
Great town to enjoy the spectacular Aiguestortes I Estany de Sant Maurici national park. Access to the city is easiest by car. There are convenient taxis to the park and a helpful information center for the park on town. Summer months may be busy but it was not crowded in early October.
Fabulous, quaint little village with enough restaurants and bars for an evening or two and to still feel like you have a choice. Stunning back drop and views surrounded by the mountains and the review running through, beautiful!,
Great location close to the National park, yet in the center of “town”. Lovely garden to the front of the property with well spaced, uncrowded tables for eating, chatting & room for dogs to relax on the grass. Lovely view from the balcony terrace & overall very dog friendly! Overall it’s a basic hotel, but clean and comfortable. The staff are doing their best in exceptionally difficult times.
The staff was exceptional. Super friendly and always happy to help. Don't forget to ask then recommendations where to eat, they know the best places. Additionally, we really liked the garden, it's one of the best places in Espot to sit down and zip from a well desereved drink after a rewarding hike as it's in the sun (most of the town's terraces don't have sun).
We walked 5 min to the village market and picked up food for breakfast and picnic lunch (some beer and wine too!). We enjoyed dinners at restaurants in Espot. Barely used our car while we there. Apartment was large, two floors and has a lovely sunny balcony. The place was totally clean, a really good value. Thank you, thank you!
Nice apartment with all necessary facilities available. Very friendly owner! We had a very pleasant stay! If you like to walk Espot is a great start. For us, as amateur walkers, 4 days was good enough..
Set in lovely valley handy for the National Parks. Pretty hotel. Nice, reasonably priced food and drink.
Great value for money. 5 min from Espot by car
