AustraliaThe property, a recently restored villa, was just wonderful. My room was large, grand and comfortable. A shout out to Irene and all the staff who made me feel as if I was indeed the Marqués! The breakfast buffet was excellent and there were a number of options for lunch and dinner only five minutes walk from the property. If you feel like being pampered and just enjoying Spanish hospitality this is the place to stay.

Faedo itself is a tiny hamlet with almost nothing there.
Faedo itself is a tiny hamlet with almost nothing there. However, we stayed at a bed and breakfast called La Casona de Faedo Pension, which is also has a bar and restaurant, and this place is simply stunning. There is a waterfall nearby called the Cascada de Gorgollón, which is about a one and a quarter hour round walk from La Casona and is well signposted - be sure to visit as it is very much worth it.
