United KingdomLovely location, fantastic building, friendly and attentive staff. Fantastic small hotel with 11 rooms in the countryside, 45 minutes from Bilbao, very tranquil. The food served in the bar was very good and the gastronomic breakfast in the restaurant was worth every penny. The room was spacious and clean with a fantastic view. Sat outside on the terrace for hours just watching the world go by ....

United KingdomA lovely hotel, friendly, helpful staff and a great bar / restaurant 1 km up the road in Badames. The rooms were spacious and the extra large beds extremely comfortable. We stayed one night on our way to the Santander ferry but would definitely stay longer to explore the area next time we are driving through.

NetherlandsWhat a fabulous location, right on the sandy beach! We enjoyed swimming and there of plenty of surfers. There is a place to hire wetsuits and boards further along the beach.
The hotel has some private parking but there is also plenty of parking along the street too.
The facilities are very nice with an indoor pool, small gym, an outdoor shower area (useful when you come off the beach), nicely decorated foyer area and a lounge with balcony on the top floor. We had a sea view room (without a balcony) and it was very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities.
We ate breakfast everyday and there was a good selection of meats and cheeses, fruits, breads and pastries as well as a cooked breakfast (bacon, eggs etc).
They have a café as well as a restaurant. We tried the burgers and salads in the cafe and the paella in the restaurant. It was all excellent!
The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly.

Location - half a mile from Colindres centre, an easy walk. The property itself has only 6 guest rooms, so it is cosy and intimate. The property is clearly very old, it oozes character and charm. The owners were lovely, whilst I don't speak Spanish and they didn't speak English, we were able to confer in broken French!
