Located in Fisterra and with Da Ribeira Beach reachable within a 2-minute walk, Hotel Costa da Morte provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a bar, free WiFi throughout the property and a... Very friendly and helpful reception on arrival and during the stay. Excellent breakfast.
With garden views, Cabañas Fisterra is located in Fisterra and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the villa free of charge. We went here as a “vacation” after walking the Costal Camino Portugués from Porto. Although the cabañas don’t look super special from the outside and kind of blend into the scenery from afar, inside is pure relaxation. After a quick check-in, we found our cabin immaculate with a small bottle of Prosecco waiting for us at the hot tub and rose petals across the bed. You can also buy bottles of wine at the restaurant/desk. The view the first day was hindered by weather, but once it cleared you could see the waves lapping at the beach below. The place feels very private and secluded. Sliding doors open to the balcony and you can leave the door open for a breeze while soaking in the hot tub that overlooks it. Breakfast can be ordered to your cabana and will be dropped off outside your door in a picnic basket at the time you desire. It is a HUGE spread, enough for snacks later in the day! The owner/chef is amazing in the kitchen and prepares everything from scratch when ordered- even sending her husband out to grab something to complete the process. Our second day, we walked to Cape Finisterre through town- an easy 3 miles each way and stopped at some shops on the way back. We had the lobster paella our final night and it was impressive. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend after completing your Camiño, especially if with a partner.
Located in Fisterra, a 6-minute walk from Da Ribeira Beach, Apartamento Mar de Fora has accommodations with a terrace, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. The hosts were very nice and helpful although we were not able to speak Spanish. They added some extras that we appreciated . The apartment was very comfortable and clean
Located in Fisterra, just a few steps from Da Ribeira Beach, Casa Castillo Finisterre provides beachfront accommodations with free WiFi. Josefina is a delight. Her house is perfection and so spacious and spotless. The views from the living room take your breath away. Parking right in front of her door. Absolutely recommend.
Located in Fisterra, just a 4-minute walk from Langosteira Beach, APARTAMENTO VALDEMAR3C FISTERRA provides beachfront accommodations with free WiFi. A very friendly host! She helped us to find the best restaurant in town. It was very clean and it looks like it was brand new. All in all a place where you have to stay if you want to be next to the beach Thanks for everything!
Apartamento Lugar de San Roque is located in Fisterra, a 2-minute walk from Langosteira Beach and half a mile from Mar de Fora Beach, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. Wonderful location. Easy to pick up key. A great place to rest and relax after a very long walk!
Our hotel was located on the camino route into Finisterre. We had a view from our terrace through the pines to the coast. The seafood in town was excellent. The staff at the hotel was friendly, helpful, perfect. And, the price was right and breakfast was included.
Fisterra (or Finisterre) is know for being 'the end of the world'. The amazing view (and possibly sunset) is best viewed from the rocks surrounding the lighthouse – also a perfect (symbolic) ending of your camino, should you be on one. If you want to catch that sunset and have diner beforehand, keep in mind that a lot of restaurants don't start serving diner before eight! The World Family - a small, alternative bar (or living community as I understand) was great - I had a wonderful vegetarian lunch there and the atmosphere was amazing. It may not be for everyone, but for me this was a lovely place.
I really like the walk to Faro Fisterra. Also the view of the Atlantic Ocean was amazing. If your by yourself it is a good time to quietly reflect on your life. If you are with someone special it is a good time to think about the future.
There is another beach that is great for watching the sunset. It was a little difficult to find but nice for a bonfire under the stars. It's helpful to bring headlamp or torch/flashlight for the walk home. The sunset cruise was also great.
Absolute must when in Fisterra is Cabo (Cape) Fisterra that was one considered to be the end of the world (hence the name Finisterre), but even elsewhere the area is full of nice places for walking or just enjoying yourself in a lovely natural setting.
The cabin is well furnished and has a nice interior design. There is a bathroom with a rain and massage shower. Of course, the true highlight is the (indoor) jacuzzi that looks out on the ocean. Simply wonderful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I asked if it was possible to have a bottle of champagne present in the room and this was no problem at all. The breakfast room service was excellent too: it included fresh orange juice and coffee plus toast and croissants from a local bakery. Absolute top spot in Fisterra.
This view from the living room of this apartment is to die for. The location is great for Fisterra, and the beds were very comfortable. We spent a lot of our time relaxing in the living room chatting and enjoying the view. The check-in is completely in Spanish. It was okay for us because a couple of us can speak a little bit and Google translate helped a lot. But you definitely need to be able to speak or write some Spanish to set up your key pick-up.
Great apartment overlooking the beach. Can’t speak more highly of the staff, I had accidentally sent the luggage to another similar named hotel & he very kindly went and collected it for us. The apartment was 1km from the bus station.
Wonderful location - marvellous views from the apartment. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well-appointed, with on-site parking. It was a great base for a few days in Fisterra.
2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, enough heat, well-equipped kitchen. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and biscuits were nice. Living room with couch was a bonus, compared with hotel rooms.
Staff was awesome and there was an included breakfast that was outstanding. Also, about as close as you can stay to lighthouse on Fisterra.
