I booked flights and hotel separately. About 1hour taxi journey from airport @ €40 each way. No trouble getting a taxi for both journeys. I stayed 3 nights & could have stayed another 2 as it was so relaxing & chilled. Beautiful place & lovely staff...felt so refreshed after my break here. Would suit solo travellers like myself & couples. The room had all you needed to make snacks & the supermarket had a great choice of food & drinks. I did not eat in the hotel... just my choice as I had family staying in another hotel so we ate out at the local restaurants....which are walking distance from hotel and they were amazing. We ate in the Okan restaurant..just fabulous & the local Pizzeria also excellent.

We visited Fornells pre season, therefore very quiet and a lot of bars, restaurants and shops hadnt opened. everything was about to open up. my opinion is it is the perfect place for 'boaties'. you need a car to travel to beaches as there isnt a beach at Fornells. Although parking can be difficult in the port itself, there is plenty of parking available a short walk behind the village. An upmarket quirky and pretty village. a varied selection of restaurants offering fish or the famous Lobster stew. plentyt of walks for enthusiasts. Margarert

Best place we visited on the island beautiful quiet port. several very good restaurants recommend whole sea bass or sea bream at xa xerca only 23 euros. No beach but bathing spot with steps into clear calm sea just next to apt. Best beach nearby Cala Cavalleria

It was really the end of the season so very quiet which was...

It was really the end of the season so very quiet which was nice too. At least 2 restaurants and 1 snack were still open. One can see it is really a very small and quiet place where everything evolves around the water i saw several people that went hiking

Tirant Playa is 4 km from Fornells, a fact which is not made clear. It is at Platjes Fornells, another place. There is an excellent swimming pool and the apartments are very big . A car is essential . There are two wonderful restaurants next door to each other.

The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a great place to visit for padel boarding, kayaking, diving or renting a boat. This apartment is on the top floor. It is spacious, well equipped and clean. The location in Fornells is perfect, with amazing views from the terrace. Parking and swimming pool a real bonus. The staff at Som Menorca are responsive, helpful and friendly.
