Located in Frontera, Hotel Puntagrande is set on a tongue of lava rocks, surrounded by the ocean with a spectacular view from all the rooms and from the panoramic terrace. Wonderfully located and lovely owners and staff! Still miss their breakfast ;-)
Featuring a garden, Pensión Casa Trudo is located in Frontera in the Canary Islands region, 8.4 miles from Playa del Verodal and 17 miles from Roque de la Bonanza. Great location, felt private even though I was on a complex, the room had aircon and a fridge (and there was a family of cats living on the property too).
El Sitio is a charming, stone-built property set within vineyards in the hills outside La Frontera. It features unique, well-equipped accommodations with private terraces and sea views. I loved the calm and beautiful wiev. Apartment was clean, cosy and warm. Host was wonderful. I tasted also local beer and it was super tasty. We became friends with a cat, which name I forgot... All great! Thank you. :)
Apartamentos Edalmar offers pet-friendly accommodations in Frontera. Valverde is 6.8 mi away. Free WiFi is available and free parking. The accommodations has a seating area. We loved the area. Very convenient to get anywhere. The flat was very espacios and it had everything we needed.
The Pension El Guanche features free WiFi in all rooms, and it is located in Frontera, on the island of El Hierro. This guest house is accessible by stairs only it offers a restaurant and bar on site.... The quality of the accommodation was proportional to the price. The owner was very friendly and really helpful. I recommend this accommodation.
El Laurel in Frontera has accommodations with free WiFi, 17 miles from Faro de Orchilla, 20 miles from Roque de la Bonanza and a 16-minute walk from Hierro. Really beautiful accommodation with amazing view. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended ☺️
La Frontera is a lively, small town that offers all for the daily needs. Good location to experience the island of El Hierro. Many small restaurants, bars and small supermarkets and sports shops. In comparison, Valverde, despite capital, seems deserted and kind of depressing. La Restinga is too far away from anything else on the island. My recommendation therefore is clearly the area of La Frontera.
A beautifull Island, very different than all other Canary Islands. Its Nature is very well preserved, its under UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, its fossil free, has lots of very well marked hiking ways allover the island, beautifull Natural pools on the coasts, some few black sand beaches, the highlands / mountain regions are very green with old Canary Pine trees and Laurel trees, a lot of endemic plants, the coasts are more vulcanic, some very barren, the views from all the Miradors are stunning. you feel far away from everything, clean air, very clear sea, wind, waves, sunshine, cooling climate in the mountains, warm on the coasts...all this you can experience on this small island.
Very quiet, but still enough local amenities, even on a Sunday. Within easy reach of some of the best scenery and walking I have ever experienced! Great bar called Canary Burger, right on Tigaday Plaza, open all hours. Still fairly easy to get to by bus, and enough great locations and trails to visit by bus.
This a great "self catering" accommodation in Tigaday, El Hierro. It was bit hard to find, but it all worked out with help from very helpful locals. You do need a car. There are several close grocery stores, restaurants, but not many. There are many drivable island destinations, sights and many well marked hiking trails. The nearby museum is interesting and well done. We liked the quiet, local lifestyle. The locals are very friendly and accommodating, but few speak English.
Beautiful scenery in a quiet none tourist area of El Hierro, which is what we wanted. An interesting place to visit is the project to re introduce the giant lizards of El Hierro at the Ecomuseo de Guinea y Lagartarario.
All. I liked everything, the room, the restaurant, the people who attend, the location is amazing, the sound of the sea is incredibly relaxing. In general, it is difficult for me to sleep in hotels but there I slept in the most comfortable way and with the best background music (the sound of the waves breaking against the cliff).
Highly recommanded! The place has everything what is needed for such trip as Yours to This jaw-dropping paradise. Everyday properly cleaned by very nice lady. Great location in heart of Frontera with nice bonus You can find underneath the pension one lovely restaurant with fresh and more than well cooked home- made meals. Top!
The view of the mountains where stunning and hotel was cozy, with your own entrance and chairs and tables to sit on outside in the common area, even some sun beds. The staff was kind and often available. Great air condition and good beds. Close to the bus stop and lots of parking spots. I will be back.
Good location, 100 m from bus hub (estacion de guaguas) Frontera, shop (tienda) right next door, even though the main road of the island is nearby, we had a quiet stay as there is very few cars passing by (almost none at night)
The property is exceptional - well equipped - absolutely everything you could require. The Villa is well situated for the town of La Frontera and the landscape amongst which the Villa sits is simply amazing.
The property is in a central location in the island on the edge of the town Frontera but close to a good restaurant a small well-stocked supermarket. There is parking for one car and there are two bedrooms,
Splendid views and good location. Traditional stone house with all basic facilities. Restaurants on walking distances in La Frontera.
Great place to stay in Frontera. Well equipped. Easy parking. Friendly contact.
Very large, spacious and comfortable apartment, in the centre of La Frontera.
A clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Great value for the price.
