It's a green beautiful city with thousand palm trees, real oasis in the desert-like Lanzarote. The house of Cezar Manrique is worth visiting. It's also very close to the "Mirador de Rio" of Cezar Manrique, a very unique architectural gem with a marvelous view.

We had visited Haria before but got a much better feel for the place by staying a few days. It is a peaceful Canarian village with a friendly feel. There are good bars and restaurants. We enjoyed local walks with spectacular views and visiting the Cesar Manrique Foundation.

Haria ia a green oasis with palm trees and vines as well as vegetables growing up ithrough the volcanic crust.
It is very quiet and peaceful .. in January there were few tourists if any and there are no tourist developments in site..
A car is rquired to get about .. buses seem to be infrequent and the driving is easy with little pressure.
The influence of Cesar Manrique is very evident and a visit to his foundation at Tahiche is a must. Also to the Cueva de Los Verdes.
