The cathedral is very impressive our entrance ticket also included free entry to the church at Baeza which was also worth visiting.
We also visited the Arab baths in Jaen which have been very well restored, and offer free entry.

Still the real Spain, unspoilt by over tourism.
Still the real Spain, unspoilt by over tourism. Still has the rough edges and the absolute delights. Very down-to-earth but surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet. For lovers of the mountains and open spaces rather than the Costas - no beaches here!

We have been traveling through Spain for the past two months...
We have been traveling through Spain for the past two months and found Jaen to be the least satisfying of all the places we stayed. It is very, very hilly. So if you have asthma or other respiratory illness, forget it. We stayed in the old town at the base of the hill and found the locals quite unfriendly and somewhat anti tourist. Don't believe Google maps(Search) about opening times for bars & restaurants as those indicated as being open, were closed. When we did find a bar, we felt unwelcome, with the barmaid choosing to text on the phone for 10 minutes of more instead of serving customers and in saying that when we were served it was after she served the locals first. An extra few days elsewhere would be better!

My trip was limited to Jaen only rather than the surrounding countryside. Lovely town, great Cathedral, in the ticket price there is a few of the goggle that allow you to do a 360 degree virtual reality viewing- really enjoyed the added detail. Good castle and walkable if fit and in the mood. The town has lots of cafe bars and shops. I used the buses and trains, all with ease.

The best thing about this place is its central location in Jaen, just a stone's throw from the cathedral. The place is not large but everything worked - wifi, kitchen appliances, hot water etc. The toilet had a bum gun with excellent water pressure! Friendly and helpful owner.

Great location, nice clean hotel, perfect for our stop over in Jaen.
Breakfast is a good selection of meats, cheese, bread, yogurt & fruit
Coffee was very good as were the juices.
Easy check in and we parked directly outside hotel as wasn’t too busy.
