This pleasant hotel offers comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi, 30 minutes’ drive from Yecla. Hotel Monreal's heated rooms feature simple décor with wooden flooring. It was SAFE and CLEAN. Staff awesomely helpful to guide and explain the hot spots in the area and of course free WIFI! There aren't many choices of hotels so I was happy that this hotel kept good ethics at doing a great job.
Located in Jumilla, Hotel Pio XII Jumilla features a terrace. Featuring a bar, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. This is our second stay here and we enjoyed returning. Very helpful and friendly staff, easy free parking across the street and a spacious and comfortable room complete with king size bed, great bath and small fridge.
Featuring a private seasonal swimming pool, Casa Rural Consuelo is located a 10-minute drive from Jumilla. This country house includes barbecue facilities and a terrace with outdoor furniture. The villa is an amazing tranquil retreat situated amongst fruit trees. We loved being able to chill and relax by the pool. Our host Jose was amazing and friendly and invited us to a guided tour of Jumilla Castle.
Set in Las Encebras, B&B Casa Alegria offers accommodations with an outdoor pool and a garden. Complimentary WiFi is offered. A terrace with mountain views is offered in all units. I could write an essay on this place. Wonderful hosts , fabulous location & amazing self contained apartment. It was truly great.

Set in Yecla, CASA VIDAL RELAX AL PIE DE LA SIERRA offers accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The property has city views and is 24 mi from Fortuna. The house was very clean and Conchi the owner was very helpful. I would recommend staying at this property it was lovely
Set in Torre del Rico, 16 mi from Jumilla, Los Cuatro Vientos B&B offers a restaurant and free WiFi. The property was very rural. A typical old spanish home which the owners Steve & Richard had refurbished totally keeping the original style, the Bedroom was spacious and very well appointed.
Casa Rural el Castillico is on a hill, 10 minutes’ walk from the center of Yecla. Set in gardens, it overlooks the town and has a sun terrace and distinctive castle-style tower. The location is fantastic, the house is big with lots of amenities and nice view of Yecla and the surrounding Sierras. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly.
Countryside surrounding Jumilla is at times breathtaking but other than going to visit bodegas, Jumilla is not too riveting. Much of town quite run-down. On the other hand we found one great restaurant and saw quite a few others. It is a good place to base yourself to sight-see the surrounding area
Jumillia is in the centre of an excellent wine region and the local bodegas have tours of their facilities that cumulate with tastings of their wines. Pre book to avoid disappointment. The restaurants in town are very good and serve the local wine at reasonable prices.
We were in Jumilla with 2 Classic Cars for the Car Show at the Internacional Raceway. We had a good long week-end with spare time in the evenings to explore the Restaurants. You have to look hard for them because because the area of the Hotel had very few
People in the shop next to the hotel Monreal were very friendly & helpful. Also in the bar down the road. We were there soley for the wine tasting at Luzon Bodega & also Juan Gil. Both were excellent. The town itself we found to be very shabby & dreary, lots of empty buidings & graffiti & the streets were dirty & a lot of dog excrement.
Not a lot to see or do. The old part of the town is vvery pleasant, but there is not much of it. Visiting the castle is less than straightforward, so worth checking out arrangements with the Tourist Office
We enjoyed looking round the old town and walking up to the castle with it's fantastic views. We should have pre- booked a tour of a winery, as we wanted a tour in English. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. We ate in the St Augustine restaurant.
