The room was in the attic and had very sloped ceilings, but apart from that the room was spacious, clean and well equipped. A great communal lounge area outside the room on the top floor.

Thank you, Ivan and team. What a perfect, relaxing getaway I had at Hotel Rural el Refugio! Everything was perfect, the suite room was huge and had everything I needed to relax, Cook, make coffee which we provided etc. Heater was great for cozy evenings. There was a lovely terrace outside my room where I enjoyed coffee every morning. The hotel is so tranquil, the pool was beautiful and so peaceful. You are literally right on 2 hiking trails so no need to travel to the trails. I hiked everyday to watch the sunset not far from the hotel. The views are spectacular! The best part about my stay was the outstanding hospitality from Ivan and his staff. I felt so welcome and it really was the highlight of my time in gran canaria. Thank you!!!

Totally perfect view! Peaceful and quiet place and had a very friendly service and smiling staff. Room was quite small, but that was well informed at first place. Strong recommendation especially for backpackers, there are lots of different paths around Juncalillo :)
