Adrián Hoteles Roca Nivaria 5 stars

Hotel in Adeje

This luxurious 5-star hotel is situated on Costa Adeje, overlooking Playa Paraiso Beach. It features a spa area and a heated infinity pool with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. We stayed here 11 nights in July with our one year old child. We chose Roca Nivaria to celebrate his first birthday and also our wedding anniversary. We booked a double room, but we were upgraded on arrival to a Family Room which was a very pleasant surprise. Here we were greeted by a welcome package of Cava, fruits and peanuts. We were impressed! We had an amazing spacious room with pool view, a large walk in wardrobe very comfortable for storing clothes, big bathroom with a massive shower and bath and a huge balcony with sun loungers. The hotel is fabulous with outstanding views. We really enjoyed the ocean view from the infinity pool. The grounds are amazing, lots of greenery, beautiful palms, tropical gardens with a turtle pool and a stream running downhill. There were two swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers, one with heated salt water, the other one with fresh water a wonderful waterfall. We preferred the upper pool as it was heated and our one year old child was not bothered by the salt water. We did appreciate that inflatables were not allowed in the upper pool. Food was outstanding with plenty of choice every day from fresh fish cooked indoor to steaks cooked over an outdoor grill. Every night had a different theme. The range of desserts was also incredible. We also tried the Italian restaurant, excellent food and service, with delicious pizza and lasagna. A la carte restaurants must be booked in arrival as were fully booked within a couple of days. All staff members were extremely friendly, helpful and responsive to requests. We like to visit new places and try new experiences so we do not stay at the same hotel twice. Until now. It was an excellent choice to celebrate our son’s first birthday at Roca Nivaria GH and would definitely return. We had a fantastic stay here, thank you RN for our memories!

The Barcelo Teguise is a beautiful hotel with unbelievable amenities. We were welcomed by their warm and friendly staff with a glass of cava, and found our room to be modern and clean. The hotel restaurants and bars offer a great variety of food and beverage with excellent service. The hotel pools and spas were well maintained and offered great relaxation. The surrounding area has lots of pubs and restaurants if want to leave the hotel. It is a very short walk to a sandy beach with swimming. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back.

FAQs about hotels in Canary Islands

Eternal Spring in a Spainish Playground

Mention Spain’s Canary Islands and the talk automatically centres on the weather. The eternal spring climate makes booking your vacation easy. The year-round sun, endless beaches and remarkable volcanic landscapes are spread across 7 main islands and 13 in total.

Tenerife is the biggest island in the group, which also includes Spain’s tallest mountain at 3,718 metres, the volcanic Pico del Teide. This island also has the most number of hotels and resorts scattered along its 350 km of coastline. Booking.com can help you make the choice easier.

La Palma, nicknamed Pretty Island, is a good example of the dense forests and fertile valleys competing with desolate volcanic landscapes and a lack of natural water resources. Gran Canaria is the most diverse of all the Canary Islands and houses the largest population.

Agriculture, a traditional Canario pastime, has reemerged as an important economic pillar for the islands alongside the modern advancement of tourism. Snorkelling, windsurfing, endurance sports and golf draw sport enthusiasts while tempting wines and cheeses entice the gastronomes.

Tenerife has 2 airports both north and south, and Gran Canaria Airport is the other major entry point for international visitors. Whatever way you get there, it is clear that a trip to the Canaries is a trip to paradise.
