Since we visited the hotel in early june, I would say it was not half its capacity. Quiet, will a lot of facilities, wonderfull breakfast, with a direct exit to the sea path.

We first loved the exceptional warm welcome by Oscar the owner and the kindness of his staff. The location of La Casa is perfect in the most beautiful village of the island. This boutique hotel is an old renovated typical house which gives such a charm in the rooms as in the patio where we had our breakfasts. Talking about the breakfasts Oscar proposes a different composition every day with local and fresh food. It's excellent ! Finally as we are deco lovers our suite with a private pool was amazingly decorated and functional too. We will come back.

Had a great stay at Aqua Suites. It's a ten-minute walk from the beach and the Puerto del Carmen promenade. A couple of supermarkets are just 5 minutes away. Our room had a magnificent view over the pool, it was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast has various cold options from the buffet. You can also order some delicious hot options that will be cooked on order. We also tried dinner and can only recommend it. Every day there's different tasty specials in addition to the à la carte menu. The staff is welcoming, corteous and always happy to help. We would like to extend our special thanks to David and the lovely receptionist from Ecuador (so sorry we are this bad with names and didn't catch yours!) and to Christian at the restaurant. They are clearly passionate about their job and about providing an excellent service to their customers. Highly recommended!

The Island Out of This Planet

Volcanic Lanzarote, one of the Spanish Canary Islands, features the dramatic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park and the lush beaches of Papagayo and Blanco. Its out-of-this-world appearance, due to volcanic eruptions of the 18th and 19th centuries, earns Lanzarote a well-deserved spot in the sci-fi film sets list.

Wonderful hotel. We booked a suite and the room was very big. The sofa bed was too small for our adult daughter but the hotel very quickly arranged for a regular bed to be put in the room. The service was extremely fast (within an hour of the bed request, there was a new bed and 5 minutes after a request for a hair dryer, someone was at the door). The staff is very friendly and will do their very best to make your stay memorable. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. 2 large swimming pools with a lot of sunbeds and the beach is in front of the hotel.

Very close to airport. Hotel is right on the beach. Really beautiful views and location to shops , bars, and restaurants. Light airy rooms , spacious and clean. Staff were really helpful and smiley and welcoming. Comfortable bed. Best spa/ jacuzzi .. so many different pressure points / targets areas you can choose from. Wish I had more time to spend there. It’s just perfect on my last day before an evening flight. Staff so lovely, warm and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The style and decor of the villas are all excellent. Own pool and extra sun terrace to eat breakfast was amazing. High quality kitchen utensils and glasses. Everything you needed, home from home. Excellent bathrooms and showers and very comfy beds. Quiet location, only noise could be from villas close by, perhaps with children but didn't spoil the atmosphere. A very relaxing few days spent at Kamezi, could easily have stayed longer.

The perfect comfortable base for the holiday. The villa layout was good, with sheltered outdoor eating area just outside the kitchen and also a southerly facing sitting area by the pool. It was all good.

It was all good. We hired a car for 10 days and we visited different towns and sightseeing attractions. Texas Ranch,The camel riding and the volcano attraction. A great time had by all. We never get tired of visiting them after holidaying for the last 20 years.

Playa blanca has a lovely choice and variety of restaurants and a beautiful seafront promenade. Also you can walk along to the marina Rubicón via the promenade and it too has great restaurants and shops.

The whole atmosphere is peaceful relaxed happy and friendly. Super safe ! We loved the apartment Celeste, the location of the apartment, the Keg n Kilt bar and having the car to visit the island. Thank you everyone in Lanzarote !

Capital of the island centrally located Easy 15 minutes drive from the airport a great base to stay Lots of nice restaurant and eatery’s Close to the port and shopping area Bus station located with connections all over the island for exploring Great place to be based you can walk to the beach lido and restaurants

Loved this quiet local beach area with a few cafes and a pleasant stroll along the promenade to watch old guys play boule. Just enough restaurants all with choice and nice views over the sea. Morning joggers and dog walkers wander and the small sand and rocks beach is possible for a paddle or swim. Close by an area for camper vans to park.

A beautiful, well equipped apartment, very clean and looked after.... If you don't mind not having a balcony to sit out on to relax in the sun, then this place is as good as it gets for the price.

Teguise being so central made it the perfect base to explore...

Teguise being so central made it the perfect base to explore the island. Having the pool at our villa, we didn’t miss being by a beach - the closest one is only 15 mins away. Teguise is well set up for tourists but maintains an authentic feel. The market on a Sunday is when this sleepy town to life!

the faro park area of yaza is great - quiet, a row of excellent restaurants , good selection. good walks locally, easy to walk to the sea and coastal walks into town. keeps you fit and makes room for lovely food.

In love. Will definitely come back.

In love. Will definitely come back. To me it was the place with the most soul. Also surfers are a cool subculture, free spirit you can feel it. The appreciation for nature is big, the majestic landscape takes your breath away and it is a humbling experience. You can just stare at the waves for hours and be in awe by the sheer and raw power and beauty of nature. We loved it. We ate and drank a lot at La Mar cafe (best vegan burger) and it has a really cool vibe with good music. Beach bar has the best coffee and smoothies and also food. Everything is there, restaurants, shops, the beach and still if you have a rented car you can get anywhere on the island in 30 minutes. We had a bit of bad luck with the weather during our stay as it was mostly cloudy, raining and very windy due to storm Francis. Next time we will be here at a better time and I will try surfing.

We’ve been visiting Puerto Calero for about 23 years now and...

We’ve been visiting Puerto Calero for about 23 years now and we love the area. We love the walks to Playa Quemada where there are three excellent restaurants right on the shore and also Puerto del Carmen. We always pay a visit to probably the best restaurant on the island - La Cabana at Macher (5 mins from PC by taxi), owned by Darren and Debbie. The food is exceptional! Sometimes we hire a car in Puerto Calero and visit other areas of the island, this last time (March 26) we didn’t but it gave us the time to go walking! Whilst the marina in Puerto Calero has changed over the years that we’ve been visiting - the shops all seem to have gone and some of the bars and restaurants need to brush up on their customer service skills, we still love it! Upper Deck bar is fab to while away an afternoon or evening and we ate at La Portena steak restaurant and the Pizza restaurant (La Marguerite?) underneath La Portena. We look forward to returning, hopefully in 2027!
