Everything :) The hotel is beautiful with unique atmosphere. Each room carefully designed with vintage furniture. You can go around the many rooms as you please during the day and enjoy the unique atmosphere. The hotel has great and the nicest staff and owner, that will make you feel very well cared for and will help you with everything you need. They will advice you also on the places that you should visit on Lanzarote. We enjoyed the amazing breakfast that will fill you up for at least half a day. The hotel is situated in Haría, which I consider as the most beautiful town on the Island. The place is peaceful and a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Definitely recomend to everyone.

During our stay we only ate breakfasts, lunches & dinners at Lani's Gourmet Restaurant - all excellent. Access to beach was very good and no traffic noise. All staff were warm and welcoming "a family". We made use of the beauty salon, staff were considerate to our needs, relaxed ambiance, creating a fully pleasurable experience.

Everything was beyond expectations! The hotel is huge, we’ll maintained, very comfortable not to mention beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was large, very comfortable and impeccably clean. There are many pools so none is full and you can enjoy it. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. All good was fresh and tasty. The restaurants inside of the hotel were very good as well, especially Kampai. We had a great experience there.

The Island Out of This Planet

Volcanic Lanzarote, one of the Spanish Canary Islands, features the dramatic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park and the lush beaches of Papagayo and Blanco. Beautiful promenade, very easy to walk on which went on for at least 8KM with stunning scenery on the atlantic ocean, plenty pf places to rest and watch the world go by, very peaceful area, fantastic restaurants, huge supermarkets, laid back, people so friendly, very safe and plenty of public traffic, taxis etc. Fantastic drives in-land where you can visit wineyards, ,have lunch and listen to live local music, i would imagine it is like been in Heaven. Beautiful region to relax so unlike peurto del carmen which is very busy.

If you really want to enjoy the typical old town in...

If you really want to enjoy the typical old town in Lanzarote, you have to visit the Pueblo Marinero in Costa Teguise. It was designed by Cesar Manrique and it is full of bars and terraces. Really nice. The promenade from Las Maretas to the Beach of Las Cucharas is the best walking paths in the island. You can walk your dog, bike or jog in front of the sea. No cars and no noise.

Lovely Place and clean. Nice walks and board walks etc all good. Plenty of cruise ships come and go but they didn't bother us on our stay. Not a big city but its got all you need but as I say to get to the other many places to see on the Island a car is definitely needed. OH and do not pay for fuel up front at the car rental office as its a scam .

I think Playa Honda is a lovely, quiet resort.

I think Playa Honda is a lovely, quiet resort. There are decent bus links to main towns, and the small main shopping centre is good. There is a smattering of good bar/cafe/restaurants on the front. There are good unfacilitated beaches (by Lanzarote standards) which enable safe swimming. We found a couple of local bars which we really liked. Bike hire is good, and there are good cycle paths. We particularly liked the outdoor space at the house. We could just have done with more sun so that we could make the most of it! The house was well equipped for our needs and was immaculately clean. We found the bath/shower arrangement a bit tricky- hard to avoid flooding the bathroom when having a shower. We liked Tías, which didn’t feel touristy at all. We liked walking down to the town to eat in the evening sometimes, rather than going further afield by car. Very helpful host, who made recommendations and helped us with bookings.

In love. Will definitely come back. To me it was the place with the most soul. Also surfers are a cool subculture, free spirit you can feel it. The appreciation for nature is big, the majestic landscape takes your breath away and it is a humbling experience. You can just stare at the waves for hours and be in awe by the sheer and raw power and beauty of nature. We loved it. We ate and drank a lot at La Mar cafe (best vegan burger) and it has a really cool vibe with good music. Beach bar has the best coffee and smoothies and also food. Everything is there, restaurants, shops, the beach and still if you have a rented car you can get anywhere on the island in 30 minutes. We had a bit of bad luck with the weather during our stay as it was mostly cloudy, raining and very windy due to storm Francis. Next time we will be here at a better time and I will try surfing.

Yaiza is a very pretty small town inland, There are good bus links to coastal resorts, the airport and Arrecife. There are a few cafes, bars and restaurants and a little, well stocked supermarket. We spent lots of time in the Bar Stop which serves the best chickpeas in the Canaries but can run out of other food if its a busy day. La Era is a beautiful restaurant with a typical menu.

I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-seasony and quiet. Some of the cafes I had wanted to try were closed until the end of March. Still, a small handful of good restaurants, and easy access by road to the other parts of the island, so it was a good base to explore from. I recommend Ikarus for fresh fish, Boutique del pan-San Rafael for coffee, and the Creperia for cheap/cheerful tapas and drinks outside with music. I found the locals all very friendly.

Tinajo is in a good location for seeing the sights of...

Tinajo is in a good location for seeing the sights of Lanzarote. It feels like a proper Spanish village, in contrast to some of the resorts on the island. We ate in three different restaurants and had three lovely meals.
