Food, drink and transport is a good price. Would recommend Barca Samba boat trip. So many shops to browse and lots of lovely streets for pictures. Beautiful and will be back."

"Beautiful and charming city. Beaches, weather, activities for families. We loved the rooftop terrace and swimming pool in the Innside Hotel on the 5th floor! (free access). We didn't like the public transport - bus never arrived on time, always earlier or later than scheduled. It is much better to take a bus on the 1st or 2nd stop in Magaluf because it gets very crowded. It would be nice to have more local and regional food instead of English breakfast or kebabs."

"Can Pastilla is a great place with beautiful sandy beach. Water is crystal clear and shallow, good for children. Beach is long enough for water sports too. We arrived on Sunday and there were some sea plants on the beach but next day morning everything was cleaned and beach offeres all neccessary services. Beach clubs with drinks, food. Showeres and toilets are for free. We borought bicycles for 8EUR/person/day and it was really nice to ride through the promenade to Arenal and then to Cala Blava. we really recommend this place."

"Paguera was a really great find! A short flight from London and if the taxi queue at Palma airport is too long, you can jump on a bus to Paguera for 8 euros and get off at Talaia 35 minutes later, followed by a 7 minute walk downhill to Hotel Treff. In between the airport and Paguera you'll find Magaluf and Palmnova etc.. but Paguera is completely different. It's a really easy place to stay, with literally everything you might need on your doorstep. Not a party place, mostly frequented by Germans and certainly where we were, no loud bars etc... Just a really easy and relaxing few days. The beach was super clean and plenty of space, water was crystal clear and shallow for a long way. We found the prices generally very reasonable and certainly cheaper than the UK! Would highly recommend!"

"This charming seaside town is touristic, but not too crowded even at peak season. Though it's across the island from the airport you can easily get there using the shuttles that leave frequently at all hours, but have your hotel reserve in advance. The beaches and walking paths are lovely, and there are many shops and restaurants. Do not plan on changing currencies there. Money exchanges are almost nonexistent and charge 30% commission. We stayed 4 days, but a week would've been ok."

"We were in Cala Marsal - a 10-20 minute walk to Portocolom. Plenty of restaurants and a lovely beach bar - recommend El Baul and Restaurant Marsal. Beach bar makes excellent breakfast, coffees and cocktails. Pizzeria la Pizza is dine in and takeaway Sunbeds with a safe on the sunshade Safe, clean beach with lifeguards, shower and toilets Gets very busy at weekends but enough space if renting sunbeds isn't wanted"

The design of the hotel is elegant and thoughtfully curated, creating a stylish and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Most impressive of all were the spacious rooms, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, making them both luxurious and incredibly comfortable. We were two couples travelling with children and felt very welcome.

A firm favourite with sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. The enchanting capital Palma has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbour, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport transfers. North of the island is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana whose mountain lakes are absolutely beautiful. A trip to its highest peak – Puig Major – offers wonderful views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts are Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighbouring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters. Amazing location, very close to the beach yet not in the busiest city center. So it was close to all restaurants but quiet at night. Spar just around the corner. Very nice personnel, everyone was very kind. Breakfast was tasty, same every day but for cyclists there was everything you need. Bikes were allowed in our rooms / balcony, which is nice. Everything was nice and clean everyday, beds were ok comfy.

I have visited Palma many times and the place never disappoints. It offers everything you may want in a city break and more. Everywhere is within walking distance. Fabulous shops, historical sites, the marina, restaurants and bars.

It is a wonderful place for a holiday. The beach is beautiful, clean, and very long, perfect for walks and relaxing by the sea. The area has many restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, and everything is easy to reach on foot.

Magaluf exceeded my expectations.

Magaluf exceeded my expectations. Beautiful beaches with crystal-clear water, a lively atmosphere, great restaurants, and stunning sunsets. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy the sea, and have fun. I would definitely love to come back!

Overall, Can Pastilla is one of the most popular places to stay near Palma de Mallorca, especially for travelers who want a relaxing beach holiday with easy access to the city and the airport. I’d rate Can Pastilla 9/10 as a destination for a relaxing Mediterranean holiday, especially if your priorities are beach time, scenic walks, convenience, and easy access to Palma rather than nightlife.

There was a lot of tourists, which isn’t helpful if you want a peaceful retreat, the sea is pretty clear, there is a lot of attractions, but not great for a tight budget. It’s fairly easy to get around, although the winding streets were a tad confusing. For families with children, we would recommend the glass-bottomed boat. However, it is slightly deceiving as it’s not glass-bottomed, more glass sided. For people Who need a makeover, try the various fish spas the cheapest price is 5 euros per person, it’s really relaxing and healing.

Very easy to walk to from our villa.

Very easy to walk to from our villa. Lots of choice for places to eat. Several lovely beaches within walking distance, including access to Starfish boat trip. Walking distance to marina for boat hire etc. very clean and neat. Friendly service. Restaurant Can Trompe…the sea bass!! Died and gone to heaven…best meal of the week.

A lovely area to visit, plenty of the usual shops and restaurants. A perfect place to go to relax, very flat and a great road network, as in many one way traffic streets. Will definitely go back. prices get more expensive the more you venture up the beach towards Cala Bona, a glass of sangria can increase potentially by 5 euros.

The beauty of the port area is in addition it's walkable to...

The beauty of the port area is in addition it's walkable to the old town or a cheap and frequent bus. The beach is vast and we walked from the port through the commercial and hotel zone to Playa del Muro about an hour of uninterrupted walkable beach and more after that. Beach is spotlessly clean.

Cala Ratjada is a lively seaside resort, the town has numerous restauraunts and bars with a good choice of food. In particular, the seafront bars and restauraunts have a lovely view across the azure mediterranean. We ate in many different places and did not have a bad meal. Nero's was particularly nice but all that we tried were good. We did find the cost rather more than other places we visit, for example in the Canaries but, the quality was good. For the ladies, I have rarely seen so many clothes shops selling lovely and reasonable holiday wear.
