Nou Baleares completely caught me by surprise. I knew what I had booked, but it was far better than I expected to be. Room is very spacious, it’s arranged nicely and it has all the facilities that you may think. Location: 10/10- very close to city center Staff was incredibly friendly and smiley. I loved interacting with them. And the restorant is 10/10. Best food I had in Palma

Location is perfect - close to the train station and a quick walk from old town. The neighbourhood is lovely as its a pedestrian street with several restaurants and coffee shops. I even used it to go for a quick run the mornings ! Their terrace is small and cozy! Their staff is so so friendly and made sure all my queries were taken care of. I was staying alone and it was my first time in Palma but I felt safe and comfortable here for a whole week!

Reception was very nice and patient, also quite helpful. The room was much better than we imagined, comfortable, everything there, nice bathroom with ensuite toilet with door! Big "Rain- shower". The wardrobe had 10 cloth hangers, a rarety! And transparent doors! Big mirror in the room. Most remarkable was the bed and the pillows, extremely comfortable, one of the best hotel-beds in our experience. And it was just a standard double room with double bed! Breakfast was also one of the best, big variety of warm dishes, loads of local cheese and sausages, different veggie offers, lots of sweetie, a great variety of bread. Only thing we didn't understand: It's the season for oranges and tangerines, especially on the island, why didn't they offer any? All in all a very good hotel with good location and reasonable prices, Cava at the hotel bar was cheaper than anywhere else....

The hotel is new, very bright, pleasant and clean. The staff is attentive and very helpful. The room is great and very comfortable. The buffet is very very good, it exceeded our expectations. There were many different options, both savoury and sweet... the woman who prepares the omelettes, a sweetheart :) We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was so nice... the spa is not very big, but enough to relax and have a super time. We enjoyed it a lot!

A firm favourite with sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. The enchanting capital Palma has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbour, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport transfers. North of the island is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana whose mountain lakes are absolutely beautiful. A trip to its highest peak – Puig Major – offers wonderful views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts are Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighbouring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters. Everything was great! The hotel has its own parking area, and no reservation was needed. The parking cost is €6 per day, which was reasonable for us as we have paid much more for parking elsewhere. Our room had a big terrace with a great view of the pool. The sea was only a 3-5 minute walk away, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants around. The city center was just an 8-minute drive. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. A very pleasant stay!

Dinner was exceptional with new options every day. Room was nicely cleaned everyday. Great amenities and very friendly staff at the reception. Nice and quiet location at the end of Cala Millor, great for calm and relaxing family vacation.

Room was very clean and the view from the balcony was also great. Breakfast was just amazing, always freshly cocked food and the amount of different food provided was excellent. Location is good you can see the sea from the balcony and the sea is less than a minute walk from the hotel. The bike rooms in the basement were great!

The Hotel is huge, there’s a lot happening, and a lot to do, a tennis, golf and football course, gym and spa. Besides that there is an area for only adults including a restaurant buffet which i believed it was fantastic and the best part of our experience.

I felt you should not be charged 25 euros for late check out ! I appreciate you need to clean the rooms but check in should be earlier than 14h and check out should be as late as possible without incuring a charge.

The promenade has a great mix of cafes and restaurants, shops , giving the area a lively but still relaxed atmosphere. The water is clear and calm , making it ideal for swimming. Overall Cala Millor is a lovely place to unwind , enjoy the sun and take in the Mediterranean vibe.

We just stayed at El Arenal for one night.

We just stayed at El Arenal for one night. We enjoyed lazing around - we walked on the beach, sat in a cafe and looked at the souvenir shops. It was very pleasant. Had a burger in a cafe opposite. If we had longer we could have spent some time in the centre of Palma. The bus service seems good and it's not far. It was a good place to stay before flying from the airport early in the morning.

This was my 10th visit to Palma Nova... it is a lovely place to holiday. Its lovely and flat with well kept beaches and promenade. Plenty of shops and nice places to eat. I would strongly reccomend Paradise beach bar.

We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is popular with groups of boys and girls on party holidays. It’s such a short trip to Magaluf that they seem to stay in Santa Ponsa and get a cab into Magaluf. Because of this a lot of bars are very busy and geared towards groups of young lads/girls. We didn’t find it a major issue however one to bear in mind for a family holiday.

The entire area is well suited for hiking - both for shorter and longer distances. It is easy and fun to get lost - and then to discover new hidden gems. Actually, the best suggestion I would have is to put Sóller in the midst of a circle with a 10 km radius. There are extremely many things to find. Everything from hiking trails to hidden monasteries, quaint cities and information about a rich and eventful history. Of course, the best is to find people to sit down and talk with. I have found some places that I very much would have liked to visit again. To start with; Muleta vde Ca S'Hereu. If you have the chance, drop by for a visit. These are some of the nicests and sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. A somewhat surprising recommendation perhaps; drop by Hostal Residència Nadal for a good and healthy breakfast for 7 euro in a quiet back garden. Very relaxing before a busy day. For a longer walk I suggest paying Hotel Hoposa Costa d’Or a visit, have a good dinner and enjoy all the scandinavian litterature that is placed there. After this, head for Alconasser - and if you are still up for it, take one of the trails over to Port de Sóller. Just to mention a few potential routes. Of course, there are many other places worth visiting as well - for instance to walk up to Fornalutx and head up towards some of the trails that are crisscrossing the upward parts of the hills. Of course, it will probably pay off to not visit during the warmest parts of the years. I stayed there for a few days in October, and that was just perfect!

Very good place to leave to be close to the best beaches of...

Very good place to leave to be close to the best beaches of the island and to main attractions (caves of Hams and Drach, dinosaurland). Easy access to Northern villages such as Alcudia which is a must visit, or southwest to Santanyi where there is a beautiful local market.
