The location is perfect - right next to the sea, offering stunning views and easy access to beautiful walking paths in the area. The service was exceptional, with friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, offering welcome drinks and sandwiches. Breakfast was great, with a variety of options. The spa facilities, including the sauna, added a nice touch of relaxation, and I especially enjoyed the outdoor heated pool. The infinity pool was beautiful, though unheated.

Our stay at hotel Son Caliu Spa Oasis was really pleasant. The personnel is very friendly and accommodating. The reception staff provided us with all the information we needed. Special thanks to Carmen and Tudor from the restaurant who made our meals even more enjoyable and helped us around. The food (morning and dinner buffets) was great, varied, tasty and fresh. They cooked omelets and steaks on the spot, in front of you. The breakfast highlights were the honeycomb and the prossecco 😉 The dinner buffet changed every night - Spanish, Italian, Mediterranean etc. specialties - and the fee for it only included food; drinks to be paid extra. The room had a nice view from the balcony and was comfortable, In the room the tourist can find a coffee machine and an electric kettle. There are bathrobes and slippers, pleasantly smelling toiletries. There is a mini market on the street, open from 10 to 14 where you can buy what you need and also a supermarket not far away, behind the bus station. A pharmacy is also close. The indoor swimming pool was great, heated to 29-30 degrees C and an extra free towel was provided for each day at the pool. In the spa area there were a few detox/ revigorating fresh free drinks, water with fruits and herbs (cucumber, orange and cinnamon, lemon etc,). There was a pleasant smell all over the hotel. Beautiful furniture on the hallway. The small private beach had fine sand, some trees with chatty birds, a deck in front of the water. Free sunbeds and beach towels were provided, so no need to carry your own. Special thanks also to Daniel from the beach for his courtesy who made our stay even more enjoyable! Nice beach bars and restaurants where one can enjoy a sangria or a good grilled fish or shrimps. There is a bus station very close to the hotel so no need to hire cars or get taxis if you want to get around or easily transfer to/ from the airport.

A firm favourite with sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. The enchanting capital Palma has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbour, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport transfers. North of the island is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana whose mountain lakes are absolutely beautiful. A trip to its highest peak – Puig Major – offers wonderful views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts are Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighbouring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters. The hotel was the peek of our 4 days vacay. Delicious breakfast (eggs in all forms, fruit, smoothies, sweet bar, mimosas) with very attending staff. The room was spotless, nice side view from a balcony, cleaned every day. You can chill by the pool, sunbathe or swim. The location is perfect depending on what you’re looking for - it does get very busy and noisy, it’s simply a party area but with plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, clubs and also near a bus stop leading to Palma centre (bus 25) or airport (A2), both about 20 minutes travel. I would recommend renting a car though and travel around the island which is way more beautiful than Palma itself. Overall, we can absolutely recommend this hotel.

Plenty of thing's going on, Mainly German and Dutch resort but that's great also as nice to see how other nations party etc, there is something for everyone Schnicken Strasser is wild & crazy but there are plenty more of chill out bars from high end to low end. Start or end of season for me as i think July / August would be too hot and Rammed. Generally safe place also but like most places need to be vigilant late at night. Really good promenade about 8k long for a stroll

It was a great experience. Great for couples.

It was a great experience. Great for couples. Plenty of places to eat out. Plenty of holiday shopping options. Local hairdressers were good as well had a family wedding. We organised a trip to the cathedral. Local Buses were available and accessible from the hotel. The beach was easy walk away. Plenty of walking. All in all relaxing.

Good choice of restaurants and shops all within a close proximity to the hotel, enjoyed the half marathon, a very well organised event, Blackbeards is well worth a visit, food was great and reasonable

Palmanova has a lovely sandy beach with plenty of sunbeds to...

Palmanova has a lovely sandy beach with plenty of sunbeds to hire. It was not too busy in May but I imagine in high season it could get quite crowded. There are lots of restaurants and bars to chose from, The one thing that could be improved upon was the cleanliness of the footpaths which has dog fouling,

its not really in port dalcudia its Alcudia which is a different area Port Dalcudia is very modern with lots a shops reataurant ets there is also old town Alcudia which is also lovely with an ancient city wall and great restaurants and an archaelogical dig area so choose where you stay they are all quite different

Loved the little electric town road trains to explore Cala...

Loved the little electric town road trains to explore Cala D’Or Loved all the picturesque coves and beaches on the rugged coastline so beautiful. Loved the style. All buildings two or three storey all painted white. Beautifully kept and very clean. Centre of town encompassed about 100 little bars and restaurants in an authentic grid pattern. Very quaint. Lots of food choices.

Santa Ponsa is popular with many Biritsh and German tourists...

Santa Ponsa is popular with many Biritsh and German tourists, coming from Malta I enjoyed the peace and quiet, the cleanliness and the beautiful beach. The properties in the area are gorgeous I climbed 600 steps just to get to the top and explored the neighbourhood. Everyone was friendly overall. I used the bus with tap in tap out and it was so easy getting around. I even went to the airport using the bus which was just under an hour. Overall a lovely trip ideal for May before tourist season kicks off!

As we are cyclists the area offers a lot good access into the countryside. Bike shops nearby there are places that do guided bike rides nearby. The beach is really nice with lifeguard presence with many bars etc close by .
