The rooms were old, but had been renovated and were very clean. For the value for money we were impressed. There is a secure car park around the corner which is locked overnight.

This was part of a long cycle tour. We were tired and it was exceptionally hot. When we arrived at 17h, Tony, our host let us sit down, offered orange juice on the house while he handled our booking. The room was very good and everything else, the location just outside a lovely little village, and just outside the possibility of noisy tourists

Jennifer, on reception, was both welcoming and professional. I was a little early for checking in, but she still sorted my room. She also showed me the secure parking for my motorbike.it was covered by cctv all night.The room was both clean and comfortable.

This hotel was such an unexpected highlight of our cycling trip! It is in the middle of a medieval village called Capmany, so the setting is really spectacular. The hotel itself is a historic building, and the room was HUGE. Shower was modern and we had tonnes of space. Really straight forward check in with codes, and very bike friendly.

    This was our 6th visit of this year, we always stay here when transiting through France to Spain and vice Versa, a very convenient location right on the motorway, with friendly staff and comfortable rooms just the place for a night stop over, and dog friendly too.

    A great hotel to stop over on your travels to or from Spain. The staff were so friendly and the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. This was our first time staying here but it won’t be our last, we will definitely be back on our next return journey to Spain.

    I was only two nights on two separate occasion.

    I was only two nights on two separate occasion. In the pandemic time you can't really enjoy this place. Most places were closed. I can only imagine how nice would be there in a different time. La joungera is the border with France and Spain. It is perfect stop before next level of travel.

    Rooms basic but clean and good value. Staff very friendly and helpful, no problem with accommodating our small dog. Bed comfortable and reasonable breakfast for a very cheap 6 euros. La Jonquera is a useful waypoint if you are intending to travel across France to Calais from southern Spain

    Very clean, staff was very friendly, great value for the price. Would be nice if there was some English speaking Chanel’s on the TV. Also a small fridge in the room would be nice, but still was great value and I will look at returning to this hotel when going through this area again.

    Very helpful receptionist. There were loud people in front of the restaurant opposite the hotel at night. He called the police and they sorted it out.
