The stay was very pleasant, the place is beautiful, and the apartment is new, well maintained, and fully equipped, including the kitchen, which makes it possible to cook your own meals. Casa Calma has a beautiful swimming pool and an ocean view, so relaxing on the terrace is also very enjoyable. The owner is a wonderful host who takes great care of everything. I highly recommend it. An ideal place to relax on Lanzarote.

Since we stepped foot at the hotel we were received so well. The staff was very nice throughout, and the fact that the hotel has shows and activities made the stay here all the better. The breakfast buffet is of good quality and has a big variety to choose from. The view from the pool is very beautiful and soothing. Eating breakfast with this view made us start each day in the best way possible. We had a rental car to get around the island so the location was great, if not you are a little away from the center of Playa Blanca. This stay has exceeded our expectations, we were sad to leave!

Whenever possible, I book a room with a good view, which I appreciate a lot. So I booked a direct ocean view room. It indeed provided great views, overlooking the (infinity) pool area and the ocean. The breakfast was exceptionally rich with so many choices, and everything of good quality. All staff was very professional. The pools were super clean, as was the room. There is direct access to the beach promenade from the property. The airport bus stops nearby, and a connecting bus has a stop right in front of the hotel.

The hotel superb, although lacated far from main touristic hotspots if u have a car it is not a problem. Room in bungalos are superb! Great view, minibar, cofeemaker, kettle, water , ets. Several pools including the heated one. Special thanks to Lena and Nierius from the main restaurant, it was so nice to meet you guys. Hope u all the best. Also appreciate car rental company representative, new reliable cars and great support. Recepcion stuff is also effective, nice, polite. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I loved the location. It was an extremely clean hotel. Hose at the pool bar was amazing. I loved him. He works very hard. Always so friendly. The breakfast was amazing. There was lots of choice. You could also order from a separate menu too. I was staying half board in Royal Level. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location. I will be back for sure.

As we wanted an extended stay and we like to explore, we had...

As we wanted an extended stay and we like to explore, we had decided to hire a car for the duration of our trip. This meant that we could choose somewhere outwith the main resorts that would be more peaceful. We have previously stayed in Puerto Del Carmen, Playa de los Pocillos, Costa Teguise and Matagorda. We chose Las Brenas this time because we were attracted to the accommodation for its privacy, private patio and plunge pool and we were not disappointed. The views from Las Brenas are great as its above Playa Blanca. Its a very quiet peaceful area. As far as we could see, there is only 1 restaurant in the village- we never visited so cannot comment on it. There are no shops in the area, none that we could find anyway. Playa Blanca is the nearest resort. Public transport wise, the village is very poorly served - at time of writing there is only 1bus per day from Playa Blanca going through Las Brenas around 3.00p.m. There are plenty of taxis in PB however, we never used them so cannot say how much it would cost if you wanted to have a drink for instance. Having car is necessity to stay there but that does mean you can go where you like, when you like. Some things we would recommend: Eating at Royal China Wok in Playa Blanca - opposite church in square. It doesn't look much on outside and it rarely gets mentioned on fbk pages but it is a wee gem. If you want to exchange or buy used English language books of all kinds there is a Book Swap in Playa Blanca up the side of Rustica. The Sunday Market in Teguise is worth a visit - starrs around 10. Always quite bust but buzzing. 2 euros to park unless you find on-street parking. Well worth visit to Johnnie Bakes at top of Teguise - proper home baking with hot drinks or juice- wee rest after busy Market!
