I’ve stayed here several times and liked it. The new management is just as good, very nice and friendly. And the food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. It’s an isolated stretch on the Camino and this hotel/albergue is a lifesaver.

Hosts were gracious and flexible. I’m sure the property has an interesting history and appeared to be lovingly restored/decorated. I loved the rustic feel, the smell of wood burning and the garden patio. The food prepared and presented by the owners was the best we’ve had in Spain, coupled with a good local wine. Breakfast was tasty too.

La Botica Del Monasterio is a formidable apartment in Sahagun close to the village main square and even closer of its great monastery and ruins, as well as close of the best restaurants of Sahagun.
