I loved the cheese museum and the archives of the bullfighter who got gored fatally in Manzanares in 1934. I loved the 13 euros menu lunch at Menano. Paella for one was possible and was only a first course. Main course followed plus dessert, drink and coffee. Super fast service too.

It was a unique and different type of property convenient off the main route so it was just perfect for a one night stay. We ate both lunch and an evening snack at their restaurant and both were enjoyed. We would stay there again if passing through.

Hotel well placed and easy to find, very near to motorway. Attentive staff even though stretched by full house. Plenty of free parking. This hotel has it's own swimming pool, most welcome on such a hot day.

If you are looking for something different this is certainly a good option with the castle being the hotel one is staying in. Good price/value. Not recommended for guests with limited mobility as room has stairs. Great food at higher pricing than the average Spanish restaurant.

The staff spoke very little English so we had plenty of opportunities to practice our Spanish. The staff were tactiurn but helpful, the meals were tasty.
