Great location. apartment was clean, easy to get into with excellent views of the castle wall and area. the hosts were quickly responsive and very helpful. parking was easy, while not included or directly in front, it was easy to find close by.

The apartment was terrific. It was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Very grateful for the coffee provided. Bathrooms are very clean with terrific, hot water and water pressure. Montse met us at the apartment and provided instructions and dinner recommendations. Location is very close to the historic quarter. The apartment was very quiet and the building was safe and secure. Free parking is located just a block from the building. Wonderful stay. Thank you!

The location is perfect to explore the old town of Montblanc, Spain. Entrance to the town is almost directly across from this apartment. The apartment is a very good size with a very good kitchen and lounge area. The main bathroom is well lit and very big with a heated towel rail. Joseph was extremely accommodating and very fast at responding to messages. Parking is right out front but timing is important as any spots will fill quickly by workers in the old town. There are alternative free parking places. WiFi is strong and reliable. There are also a number of USB charging points in the kitchen. Power points everywhere in the apartment. There is a fireplace with some wood supplied but the heating in the apartment is very good so we didn't bother with the fire. The apartment has a washing machine in a separate laundry with supplies. However there is no dryer and drying rack or pegs for the washing line in the laundry. Water pressure in the main bathroom was good. Excellent black out shutters made the bedroom very good and quiet. Comfortable queen bed in the main bedroom with plenty of storage.

The walled historic centre is picturesque with narrow streets with several bars and restaurants. The Plaça Major is a local meeting spot with bars and restaurants. Many restaurants are closed early in the week.

Lovely friendly town.

Lovely friendly town. Easy to walk the perimeter of the medieval town walls in an hour. Tradition says that this is where St George (Sant Jordi) slew the dragon and a festival is held annually to commemorate this. Great little streets and shops. Close to the monastery at Poblet, which is well worth a visit - we had to resort to using a taxi, which cost us approximately 20 Euros return visit with the driver waiting while we visited the monastery. There are wine growers you can walk to from the town, and the town also has a great wine co-op which is a mine of information on good wines. Good choice of restaurants and food.

Really beautiful town, but the tourist office person was...

Really beautiful town, but the tourist office person was very unfriendly and unwilling to provide us with information about the main places to see. That is not the way to attract tourists that are willing to explore the town and spend good money. Beautiful medieval town, very clean and well preserved. Surrounded by a wall, that offers many angles and views. Zigzagging the narrow streets inside the town is the most recommended way to explore it. Extremely peaceful and safe. The main church is truly beautiful, fully run and cleaned by volunteers, so we were glad to donate a few euros in addition to the entrance fee. We strongly recommend to to up to the "campanario tower", amazing views of the whole area. Local restaurants offer a very decently priced "menu del dia" that will not break your budget. The town is well connected with trains to the cities of Lerida and Tarragona, and with buses to the towns nearby.

We liked the very warm contact with the staff. Cal Blasi is a family run hotel where guests are like kings. We had a spacious room with the decoration fitting the house. Breakfast was very delicious with fresh fruits, two sorts of ham, three sorts of cheese, a piece of delicious home made cake, bread, fruit juice and coffee or tea. Cal Blasi is situated in the old part of Montblanc, close to restaurants, museums and terraces. Cal Blasi is a hotel in an older house and it breathes grandma's atmosphere.

The hotel is very close to the old city walls and one of the medieval gates, which makes it an ideal base for city exploring. The room was modern and clean and the bed was comfortable. However it was located at the second floor and it seemed there was a problem with the flow of hot water. I showered with cold water and luckily it happened on a very hot day, outside.

Big, spacious apartment with everything you would need. Lots of space, two floors, terrace, and two bathrooms - what would you want more? Great communication with the host Josep, you can ask everything. Extremally close to historic old town, great view on city walls, and the gate. Definitely worth the stay, and if ever come back to Montblanc, will book again.
