B&B Lasnavillasmm is located in the hills outside Montefrío, 50 minutes’ drive from Granada. It offers an outdoor pool and sun terrace with loungers and views of the countryside. Marc and Mady are excellent hosts. They made us feel at home and were very attentive to all our needs. The place is spotlessly clean and breakfast was superb. The cortijo is set within spectacular countryside - views are magnificent - and it's wonderfully peaceful and tranquil.

A very atmospheric town with stunning views, deserving of the accolade given by the National Geographic as one of the top 10 most beautiful towns in the world. Great tapas, many interesting fish dishes in the restaurants. Fabulous photographic opportunities for snap shots, keen amateur or professional snappers.
Montefrio is in the mountain, people there did nothing but growing olives. So farming was everything there. The roads are difficult to drive, and there are loads of tractors to block your way on the narrow mountain roads to and from Montefrio. There are countryside standard restaurants, hard meat, high energy probably, but not edible really. So you won't get anything you like to eat there. The Montefrio Apartment was a tricky accommodation. The photos they show on Booking.com was very nice. Bright rooms, curtain open, lights on. Looks extremely lovely. But of course the accommodation side won't show you any bad aspects, which is everything they got. The apartment has door and windows, but with gaps ! So it is the same as no door and windows. They got electricity, but it was too old to support any appliances. So almost no electricity. The town was sloped, and the apartment don't have a lift. The furnitures are old. The beds are short. So everything is for out of date standard. I understand the farmers there want to make some extra cash, but by this standard they are not likely to earn much.
Beautiful white washed buildings overlooked by an ancient building set on the edge of a sheer drop . Stunning views and lovely people . Not many restaurants or bars . However the food we had was really good and very reasonable .
