We loved everything about our stay! The location is peaceful and perfect for driving to Benasque and Cerler. What impressed us most was the warmth and hospitality shown to us by Reiner and Angel, our hosts. From the moment we arrived Reiner welcomed us and immediately charmed us with stories of the house’s history while we checked in. The room was well appointed and stylishly decorated and Reiner showed us through it. We felt that we were visiting the home of friends rather than staying in a hotel. The setting is charming and the country views very beautiful. Angel had gone to great trouble to accommodate our need for vegetarian food at both dinner and breakfast, and both meals were plentiful, delicious and superbly presented, with an emphasis on organic, home made and locally sourced ingredients. When making our booking we enquired about whether there was a winery nearby where we could do a tasting. Reiner had immediately booked us a private tour, in English, of the Obergo winery, about a 15 minute drive away. This was magic - such an interesting tour and fabulous wines in a stunning setting. We have had a number of wonderful experiences across Spain in the past 2 weeks, but this is certainly the most memorable.
