Located in Muxia, near Playa O Coido, Praia da Cruz and Praia Espiñeirido, A Bughina apartamentos features free WiFi. Carmen was extremely helpful, professional and a gracious host. Both of the apartments we stayed in (ground and second floor) were clean, comfortable and well appointed. Carmen provided great tips, suggestions and guidance for our group upon our arrival. And was available to assist with questions that came up during our stay. She even provided beach towels for our group! The location was perfect! Easy walking distance to great restaurants and the beach areas. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Muxia!

Attractive overnight option if you are planning to walk Muxia to Finisterre. Good choice of bars and restaurants and exploring the town and enjoying the beautiful ocean views is a nice change from the forests that have gone before
Enjoyed the small and quiet town of Muxia. Would recommend it to anyone that is in the area hiking the Santiago trail. Several great restaurants, a quiet clean beach area and friendly locals! And don't miss the sunset at the point! It is breathtaking!
Very historic town of almost 5000 with much to explore & its right on the Camino de Santiago. The staff gave me maps of things to do & see here. Just today they drew me a map to get to a beach 6 miles round trip from the hotel. It was a beautiful beach & I was the only person on it!! I call that good.
The size of the town. I liked that it was small enough to be able to walk anywhere. I was able to be by myself in a little cove right along the ocean. It was very peaceful and so rejuvenating. Just what I wanted. I worry that the peaceful atmosphere will all change when the big tourist facility opens nearby.
This was a very nice hike from Finisterre. Muxia is generally overpriced, especially regarding accommodations, the larger hotels are the most expensive on the entire Camino and are old and worn, as well as pricey. Fortunately I found great accommodation for a reasonable price at Arribada Lighthouse point, which was the finishing scene in The Way, is quite beautiful, but if you're choosing between Muxia and Finisterre, definitely go to Finisterre. I only did the hike up to Muxia because I had time to spare and I knew it was a nice hike I didn't find the town very friendly or welcoming either Even the bus connections to Santiago are not great, too early, 645 or too late, 1430
We chose Muxia randomly as we traveled around the coast of Galicia in June. It was quite empty at that time of the year. We spent several hours walking around the area by the Santuario da Virxe da Barca and the nearby monument to the 2003 oil tanker sinking. The water is crystal clear. Do make the effort to climb up the hill above the church for a superb view of the town and the coast.
Everything about this place is my favorite. I hesitate to say how great it is because it will then not be my gem. But it deserves to be everyone’s gem. I stayed here when it was still new in Oct 2015, it was sweet then and the family has not lost their kind spirit and love of the Pilgrim. I wish I could live in Muxia and even better if I could stay at at the property. I will always stay here at the end of my Caminos. Roof top perfect sunsets.
Stayed 2 nights middle of September. We had one of the recently refurbished bedrooms with new modern shower room- spotlessly clean. Beds also clean and comfortable. Location of the hotel is perfect on the main road into Muxia, but not noisy as not much traffic. Wonderful sea view from our bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.
Love this hostel. It is clean, comfortable, spacious, airy & welcoming. I had a great nights sleep on a comfortable bed - a true blessing on the camino. Great facilities especially the kitchen & light & plug at bed. Located right in the heart of Muxia. I will return.
The location is central to all and the apartmente is very well designed, with in-room sink, cooktop, refrigerator, washer/dryer and spacious private bath. The room compares very favorably to a high-end studio suite in any hotel anywhere.
Best staff ever! Manfred who mans the front desk (and possibly the owner??) is an exceptional guy. Very helpful and caring. He went out of his way ea h time we asked him for something. The architecture of the hotel is also very unique.
Clean hotel rooms with private bathson Calle Real near the center of this small town. The baths are marble but showers are corner “coffin” style. No lobby as a bar/ cafe is downstairs (where a basic breakfast is served)
This was ideal for a family of four. Separate room for the kids and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. It felt brand new and was sparking clean. A few steps to shops and restaurants. We felt right at home in Muxia.
We felt like we were being welcomed by family is this lovely hotel with a great wine list and an amazing kitchen. Extremely comfortable, incredible hospitality and a great way to end your Camino.
It's located at the beginning of Muxia, but it's better when you want to go on the beach. Very nice, clean, with good kitchhen and living room. I liked especially the terrace.
Super modern hotel with great design attributes. Parking outside and centrally placed. Superb, good value restaurant with good service and great food. Their pulpo was to die for.
This was the perfect little hotel in a perfect location in a perfect little town. Anna was a cheerful, helpful, inclusive host. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was continental.
Good WiFi. Great facilities. Free beers in my room. Most comfortable beds ever. Great views. Location next to the best beach in Muxia and 1 minute from supermarket and town.
The guy from Venezuela, Endar, I think. He made the whole Muxia experience authentic. Very professional and kind and knew the best places to eat.
