This hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the front desk to housekeeping, every staff member was kind, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. We loved this winery hotel! It’s set among the vineyards and the buildings are beautiful. The garden is also well designed. The rooms are very comfy and beautiful. The food in the restaurant is amazing! We had a delicious lunch. And in the evening we ate something in the wine bar which was great too. And last but not least, the organic wines were also delicious. The guy at the wine store was very enthusiastic.

Such a cosy place with everything you need. It’s also quiet at night. I was with my bicycle so the ground floor entrance was nice! The host is super kind and came to meet me right away. Highly recommend.

Great for a stop over. Nothing bad with it but nothing special neither (if you are not in to gothic church and history. Old town in the middle surrounded by "modern" typically Spanish buildings.

The old town is full of character with loads of old...

The old town is full of character with loads of old buildings, churches and lots of narrow streets that you can enjoy wandering around and as long as you take it easy it's OK to take the car up lots of these narrow, winding streets. Away from the old town there's a long, tree lined pedestrian street with cafes and bars and a real feeling of community.

We were just stopping overnight on a long road trip and didn't realize what a gem Requena was. We wished we had booked some winery cave tours in advance. The town has tiny streets and so much charm!

We visited for a visit to bodega Murviedro.

We visited for a visit to bodega Murviedro. The hotel Los Canilleros was wonderful, round the corner from the Bodega and a lovely square with great places to eat and drink. One night and 2 days and everything was fantastic.

Requena is a lovely town with a medieval centre.

Requena is a lovely town with a medieval centre. It's an ideal place to base yourself for visiting the wine producers many of who do tours. Murviedro, a top wine producer, have a visitors centre right in the middle of town which is well worth a visit. There are many places to eat and drink and you can get to Requena from València by train or bus in a couple of hours We went to a fantastic restaurant called La Dispensa de Sofia which turned out to be a favourite with many if the local winemakers, who we ended up having a drink with!

We stayed in the old town for 3 nights. 2 nights might be...

We stayed in the old town for 3 nights. 2 nights might be enough for some. We pre-booked a wine tour of one of the many vineyards locally. There are limited facilities in the old town. 2 small hotels with restaurants and many Casa Rurals/bed and breakfasts. Maybe a couple of other eating establishments (which were closed when we were there mid week). No food shops and only one or two places to buy/taste wine. The new town is unremarkable but only a short walk away as are other cafes and bars.

We loved the style of the house which has been renovated whilst keeping some charming original features. It is in a central location in town overlooking a beautiful old church The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and helpful We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in Requena

Greatly renovated old house in the old town. Rooms equipped with attention to details including even complementary toothbrush. Great breakfast served in a very personal way. Very friendly owner Juan and daughter Martha. Juan provided us with a map and info on things to see and do in Requena
