Located in Samos, Pensión Santa Rosa features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a grill. We took two rooms for three senior women traveling together. One took the double room with private bath on the first floor while the other two took the twin room with shared bath upstairs. Rosa even had the heat on for a chilly evening. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The double room downstairs had a private patio with hammock! We didn’t use the laundry facilities, but other guests did. We three met for coffee and toast in the morning in the upstairs shared kitchen, and two other guests also joined us. The impressive monastery is only a short walk away, so we were able to take the tour (guided by a very nice young monk) and then stay afterwards for the Pilgrims Mass. I highly recommend Pension Santa Rosa!

This place is truly unique, placed far out in the countryside in an old family home. And they great you as such, homecooked meal, care for you and are super accommodating. We had a wonderfull stay and would have loved to stay for a few more days, but the Camino calls the next day. Take care with the food, it's really big portions and we had trouble walking the first kilometres after the excellent breakfast 🙂
