This new, family-run hotel is conveniently located between Valencia, Castellón and Teruel. It features an excellent restaurant where you can try traditional recipes made with a modern touch. Both receptionists were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good, and not a buffet, the best option during Covid. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the bathtub.

The city is in a badly need of proper clean-up and a fresh coat of paint. The buildings are not well maintained, they are full of graffiti and most of them need to be renovated. There is a overall feel of decay and abandonment. With very few exceptions the city lacks any greenery. The old, narrow streets are dark and lifeless.
