This traditional mountain-style hotel is located in the center of the Monachil ski resort in the Sierra Nevada, just 197 feet from the nearest ski elevator. The hotel offers a spa and health club. We had breakfast and dinner included, and both were amazing. Great bar downstairs, TV and several lounges that can be utilized by guest to play games. Hotel near the slope, ye sadly at the time we were there, it didn't have enough snow.

Hotel Maribel, Hotel Sulayr, and El Lodge, Ski & Spa got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Sierra Nevada.
I love Sierra Navada, there is so much to do there apart from just skiing, the restaurant's, there are so many good ones to choose from. So many beautiful places to stay. So many ski hire shops, everything you need in one small village and the views are to die for.
Position of the hotel and the ski lockers Ski locker door difficult to open so often propped open The resort is well served with lifts and good variety of runs The village is vehicle free and easy to get around Some good places to eat and drink.
The resort is tired in places - or just unloved. Footpaths and steps(which there are a lot of!) are in need of maintenance. It is expensive compared to other resorts and the quality +/or value for money for food is poor, which is a shame. That is due to the nearest competition being a long way away. People working in the resort are pleasant and helpful. Bus service could be improved with a timetable!!
Sierra Nevada is an unique spot for snow lovers. The whole village is made for the visitors to enjoy their stay, you have options for all kind of experiences, either you are there with your family, with kids, a group of friends or on your own. Highlight that the locals and all the people that works there are really friendly and helpful. Can not recommend it enough.
Wasn’t sure about skiing in Spain, but was so impressed with the quality of the snow and the effort put into maintaining the runs. Loads of snow cannons, runs for all abilities (though only a couple of blacks were open for us). The little chair lift means that all hotels up the hill are accessible easily from town/the main bubble lifts.
First time to Sierra Nevada and we really enjoyed our time there. People were super friendly, lots of places to eat and drink, easy to get ski hire and transport links from Granada airport were excellent
Sierra Nevada
I love that this aparthotel had a front desk. It is nice knowing someone is on the property site in case anything goes wrong. The rooms were very comfy. The building was built for skiing with ski lockers next to the rooms and large dressout areas with benches on each floor. Everything was clean and in good shape. The bed was comfortable. The furniture was in good shape. The kitchen was well appointed, although I did not cook this time around, but the kitchen was equipped with everything needed if I wanted to cook.
The location was great, really close to the main ski lift & bars and restaurants. Loved the fact that when parked car in underground carpark were able to walk straight into hotel. Reception staff were both friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean & kept clean by staff on daily basis. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
proximity to the ski station and practical with ski lockers easily accessible big indoor pool and spa facilities… kids had a lot of fun at the pool… the night show was very good, the musicians that perform are real and expert (flamenco show, saxophone etc…)

The apartment was better than the photos on booking suggested. The apartment was cosy and had the essentials. It was a 5 minute walk to the ski lift.
the staff are very helpful and I couldn’t praise them enough. it’s well placed for ski on ski off that eases the transition from slopes to hotel.
