A wonderful historic hotel with an amazing terrace view overlooking Africa. Although the hotel is located near a main road, the rooms are very quiet and you cannot hear any traffic noise. Free parking next to the hotel is a definite advantage. We highly recommend having both breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast is outstanding, and dinner offers a wide selection of delicious and varied dishes.

Loris was extremely helpful,friendly,gave clear instructions on accessing door to property. The door lock to our room was not aligned properly, so had to pull door when trying to use key. After many attempts, he was able to give us code to room door, which worked great. He also called to confirm ferry was running despite heavy wind, gave eating recommendations. Great service!

Tarifa is a special place where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic and where contemporary and Moorish influences combine to provide a lovely location . There are many good quality restaurants and cafes. The smaller beach on the Mediterranean side is protected and safe for swimming but there were no sunshades for hire. The beach on the Atlantic side stretches for miles and there are chiringuitos where you can hire sunbeds / shades. This area is exposed to the offshore winds so a great area for windsurfing. There's something for everyone really.

A CHARMING PROPERTY IN AN IDEAL LOCATION AND ROOMS THAT HAVE ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING YOU WOULD NEED FOR YOUR STAY. THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD RESTAURANTS AND BARS. IF YOU ARE NOT WINDSURFING YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO ACCEPT THAT THE WIND IN TARIFA IS ALMOST CONSTANT.

It's a lovely old Moorish town at the meeting of the Atlantic and the Med. Very much a surfer boho vibe so for beach lovers it's perfect. We didn't find any really good restaurants or fascinating museums but maybe we missed something? We returned to Tarifa because of the whales and dolphins. It is awe-inspiring to take a boat trip out and spot many different types - this time we saw bottle-nose dolphins, common dolphins, pilot whales and fin whales. We recommend FFIRM which not only runs whale-watching boats but is doing the data collection to map the routes of these majestic creatures, and campaign for their conservation.

I've been to Tarifa more than 30 times in the past 20 years, and no matter how short or long I stay, it's never enough time. Tarifa is a small town at the southernmost point in Europe; it's barely on the map, but it is full of life, nature, and history.

Everywhere is walkable. Plenty of restaurants. Castle well worth a visit, very well thought out displays. Pity the island is not open to visit, council should consider doing something to renovate the area. It could be a fantastic attraction. Watching kite surfers is a must see!

We particularly loved the central location right in the middle of the old town. You could feel the history in the place. Bars and restaurants on your doorstep and just a short walk to the beach. Great roof terrace with plenty of space. The flat had a good layout for a family of four. Having two bathrooms was also very useful. Conchi was just a WhatsApp away to answer any questions we had. The perfect place to base yourself in Tarifa - we will be back!

The location couldn't have been better! Close to a lot of great restaurants and the beautiful beach, I was able to walk everywhere and find anything I wanted. There is a city bus stop right there so I could explore other parts of Tarifa. And the streets are so clean! They clean them every morning. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff were always available and super helpful. I will be going back!

Fabulous traditional apartment in the heart of the old town. Situated above a boutique on a little narrow street. Bars, restaurants, etc situated in the immediate vicinity without any late night noise. Rooftop terrace was a real bonus. Ana met us at the property with keys and was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Short walk to the beach.

We enjoyed staying in this apartment and felt so at home we could have stayed longer. It was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It is an easy walk to the old town, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Tarifa.
