AustraliaThis hotel appears to be fairly new, and consequently everything is in very good condition. We spent a bit of time by the pool, and had a drink at the bar there. For dinner we walked into town, which was probably about a 15-20 min walk. It's very near a beach and there were lots of wind-surfers there the afternoon we arrived, so guessing the beach has a reputation as being great for that. The town itself is lovely and we had a lovely time walking around it. We could have parked on the property, but were able to park on the street nearby without any issue.

FinlandThe hotel area was almost perfect in every way. There was even a Finnish sauna and a cold water pool! Breakfast and dinner were varied and the restaurant was clean with white tablecloths. The chef cooked different dishes for the guests in the evenings. You could even run barefoot on the long sandy beaches. We would love to come here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Parador de Cádiz and was thoroughly impressed. My room appeared to be newly renovated, featuring a unique layout that seamlessly integrated the bed, wardrobe, and bathroom. From the comfort of my bed, I enjoyed stunning views of the sea and the adjacent Genovés Park. The young woman at the reception was exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing me with several recommendations for places to visit in the old town, which is conveniently just a 5-minute walk away. Additionally, the hotel is a mere 150 meters from the renowned La Caleta Beach, making it an ideal location for beach enthusiasts. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide variety of options. However, the only drawback was the use of coffee machines that require plastic capsules. It would be great if the hotel could consider switching to bean-to-cup coffee machines to reduce plastic waste. Overall, I highly recommend the Parador de Cádiz for its modern amenities and prime location.

We were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was spotless, well organized, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Vanessa, who leads the fitness classes, was especially motivating and encouraged me to join in, which I really appreciated.
We visited during the off-season, so the price was excellent. Our kids absolutely loved it and would have happily stayed much longer.. unfortunately, we were only there for one night.
We can only give this place the highest rating.

I like this hotel, because the is the possibility to recreate, without lots of animation. Further I prefer small hotels with less guest. What I like most is the possibility for walking along the beach, with a small way to the city. It's individual, the pool is great for relaxing, and breakfast is perfect. Only missed some Serrano ham 😅which I had in 2021, on my last stay with you. Perfect is to have some sandwiches on poolside in the afternoon. Thanks for all🙏

We love the location - being able to roll out of bed straight onto the beach is amazing. It's a small place too, so it never gets too busy or too noisy, it's perfect to just relax and disconnect. Our 3.5 year old loved being in nature all the time and being able to play safely outside the bungalow.

It has always been the best plave for me I love it.
It has always been the best plave for me I love it. It is a liveable pueblo with great restaurants. We found really lovely places away from the tourist centre - even gluten free. But is essential to plan your meals at most of the restaurants and book well in advance

The cleanliness, friendliness and appearance of the hotel was excellent. The swimming pool was wonderful with plenty of places around the perimeter to either sun bathe or sit in the shade. The pool bar serviced the sun beds and the pricing of the drinks was very reasonable. A wonderfully relaxing venue.

Be aware that traffic can be heavy throughout the town and traffic circles are everywhere. Make sure you know how to drive through these. The only downside is that the drive into Cadiz is hectic and it is better to park outside of Cadiz by the train station in San Fernando and take the train into this more heavily touristed spot Cadiz .The shopping centre by the train station with the Carrefour has free parking and the mall is interesting there to wander through.

The apartments are just beside Plaza del Arenal, where Calle Lanceria and Calle Corredera meet. The Cathedral and the Alcazar are both less than 10 minutes walk from there.
Jerez is famous for production of sherry wine, and that was the main reason for our return there. The 'cathedrals' that the wine barrels occupy are huge, dank, aromatic and worth your visit.
There is a good public transport system which makes it easy to visit other towns like Cadiz, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa María. The bus and train stations are co-located about 15 minutes walk from Plaza del Arenal.

Vibrant, beautiful, safe and great dining options. In August it is packed to the rafters. Very limited restaurant walk in options. Parking challenging & taxis to the amazing coast are 60 Euros return. Ideal for a three day break then move to the coast. Brilliantly Spanish experience. Very few Brits. Go out of the peak Spanish holiday season.

I have been to Sanlucar several times. I love it.
I have been to Sanlucar several times. I love it. It is a vibrant city, full of beautiful squares and excellent bars and restaurants. the beach is lovely with some great chiriguitos . A trip to the Donana national park is worth it. There is a ferry that runs regularly that crosses the channel to reach it.
We went this year in August especially to see the Carerras, the horse racing on the beach. great fun and great atmosphere.

It’s a lovely town with lots of interesting shop and boutiques, plenty of cafes and restaurants, all good food at good value, the beach is lovely and sandy although the sunbed price is disproportionate to the quality of the beds - mostly broken, the beach was full of green biting bugs, maybe the time of year? For a special meal we would recommend Antonio’s, fantastic food, elegant but discreet service, fantastic sea views and an excellent wine list.
