This family-run hotel is located at the entrance of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park in the Aragonese Pyrenees. The hotel is perfect for exploring the National Park: We found the beds very comfortable and having a jacuzzi after a day of hiking was great. Staff was extremely helpful with all our queries. The hotel also offers picnic lunches (containing a sandwich of choice, fruit, snacks and water) which are really good! To have dinner one does not have to reserve in advance which allowed us to adjust our plans spontaneously. We really enjoyed the stay!

Hotel Villa Russell is a traditional stone building located in the center of Torla. All rooms feature a hydromassage shower, a kitchen with microwave, and a seating area with DVD player. We spent a couple of days in this hotel and were blown away by the value for money. We enjoyed a small studio apartment with its private patio. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times of day. In the evenings the courtyard bar was very relaxed and informal (especially if you like 80's hits!), yet closed early enough that we were not disturbed at all. The town itself it super charming, and set in an amazing landscape.

Torla is a beautiful and rural village on the edge of the Ordesa National Park. There are excellent places to eat and stay in the village. During the season you need to take the bus from the village into the park, out of season you can drive up into the park where you will find a restaurant serving simple food and with a welcoming fire. Parking is free and the walking trails are well marked
Very good for walking and seeing nature. The birds of prey were impressive. The village is very touristy so loads of walkers there, bus loads. Lovely scenery on the way up to Torla, worth making the effort to get there.
Impressive mountain valley with lovely places and rugged mountains. Even as a Swiss the Ordessa National Park impresses me with a breathtakingly beautiful - and off the beaten tracks lonely - mountain landscape.
Lovely mountain hideaway - walks, streams, good tourist info centre, quite a few restaurants, but I don't want too many tourists too visit! Would rather keep it to myself. But if you do, there are quite a few great small hotels to stay, just book early and plan carefully.
The village is absolutely charming. If you prefer to be self-catering, there is a well-stocked supermarket, a butchery and a baker. I bought several items in the sports stores of the village; where else do you have a number of excellent stores to choose from so close to each other :-)
Torla is an amazing little place/village, extremely welcoming to tourists, with good restaurants and delicious food. Of course, its main attraction is the vicinity of the Ordessa canyon, a must see and do for anyone who likes walking and being outdoors
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. As it was summer, we reserved onsite parking and were impressed with the convenience of the location. Room size was very generous and, even though we planned to eat-out, there was a kitchenette to prepare small meals. Wonderful views of the surrounding area and the location was ideal for hiking in the Torla-Ordesa area. Definitely one to repeat.

We enjoyed the terrace with an amazing view. We stayed in Torla for the second time and comparing to our first choice (in our previous visit) we are amazed at what this apartment offered us. It was well equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a parking lot nearby, with a supermarket very close to the location, restaurants, pharmacy. We got everything we needed.
Torla-Ordesa
A nice, comfortable, very clean apartment. The hosts were extremely friendly (they even gave me a book about the Pyrenees as a present). The apartments have a private parking lot for free for the guests, which is a very convenient feature in Torla, with its narrow streets.

Exceeded my expectations, great location, super clean, and excellent value for what I paid for. Absolutely recommended. Torla is also a great location if you are planing to go to the national park.
