Great location for families.
Great location for families. Los locos beach has a playground, beach bar and is easily accessed. Los locos is a short walk along the promenade to La cura beach, where there are more restaurants, shops, and a family friendly beach with paddle boats. There is also another playground on that walk. “This beach was a big disappointment.
“This beach was a big disappointment. It’s very small and always crowded. On top of that, most people let their dogs use the sand as a toilet, so it smells like dog waste everywhere. We were in Punta Pina, south of the town of Torrevieja.
We were in Punta Pina, south of the town of Torrevieja. It is a small resort. There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants along the main road and up a side road opposite the supermarket and other shops and resaurants. There is a seafood restaurant next to the very small beach and another two places between the main road and the beach. These are all the facilities that are within walking distance. Beware there are pickpockets on the beach, we had our bags...
Beware there are pickpockets on the beach, we had our bags stolen with cards and phones when we went for a swim. This was the first time this happened in all of our years travelling. There is no option to hire sunbeds in Playa Los Locos or on Playa de la Mata which meant there was no one keeping an eye and this may have been a factor we think.
