The lobby was beautiful, the check in staff was very friendly and spoke great English, the room was very big and clean and had a beautiful view, the breakfast and dinner were great (on both ocasions I ate 3/4 plates, all of them with different and very good varieties). The position of the hotel must be one of the best, could've find anything with a better position. It has a lot of parking space so no need to worry about that. The pool was also nice offering beautiful views and the gym had a lot of new equipment

The hotel is exceptionally green and well-maintained. My kids loved the swimming pools, and the 2-bedroom apartment we booked was perfect—very clean and spacious. I want to give a special thanks to the receptionist who went above and beyond on the day of our checkout. She came to my room twice to help with my luggage, even though this isn't a standard service at the hotel. Her assistance was greatly appreciated, especially since I was alone with two small children.

Location was a little out of town. It took us awhile to figure out the tram system but once we did that transportation was easier. The property lended itself to relaxation. The pool was fantastic. Access to the better beaches were via tram. Local beaches were walkable. Great local restaurants very near the hotel. Staff were great in providing assistance.

Surrounded by the sandy Costa Blanca beaches and the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Alicante has a rich heritage built over thousands of years. Alacant (as it's known in Valencian) has a deep history ranging from the first tribes that arrived at the slopes of Mount Benacantil to Greeks, Romans and Moors. Nowadays, this modern city features a bustling harbor, great Spanish nightlife, charming old streets and modern beach resorts.
Overlooking the city from the top of Mount Benacantil, the Castle of Santa Barbara was built during Islamic rule in the 9th century. Cascading down the slopes towards the center of the city, L'Ereta Park has terraced levels that offer stunning panoramic views of the city. The remains of the ancient Roman town of Lucentum are also just a few miles away.
Barrio de la Santa Cruz is the historic quarter, featuring narrow streets, old houses and cobbled steps. Framed by palm trees and covered with a snaking pattern of white, red and blue tiles, the Explanada de Espana is considered one of Spain’s most beautiful promenades.
After arriving at Alicante Airport, indulge yourself in a resort near San Juan beach, or enjoy the view of luxurious yachts moored at the marina from a cozy B&B: Booking.com has the perfect spot for you to discover the magic of Alicante!

It was very busy, so expect busy but it's a City so it's not like a resort town. It was really hot and humid in July but the weather was superb, plenty of shops and history, great restaurants and bars and fantastic beach, all you would expect from a vibrant Spanish City on the Med! It's got markets, marinas live music great restaurants it's a cosmopolitan city, if you want chilled quiet peaceful then I suggest look for somewhere else

Alicante is undoubtedly a nice place, and they have a great airport which was easily and cheaply reachable. The town itself is my least favourite of the dozen or so I've stayed in in Spain, but that's probably just me, one of the small percentage who's not there for the heat, beaches, sangria etc. Just felt a bit like there wasn't that much there of interest. Having said that, the castle was one of the best free attractions I've ever seen anywhere, and the buses/trams were very easy to navigate, with cheap local taxis costing very little more when the public transport stopped running for the night.

We’ve been to Alicante before but this was the first time we visited the castle. We got the lift up, just €2.7, spent some time exploring and then walked back to Alicante via Santa Cruz which is very pretty and surprisingly close to Alicante Old Town.
We also visited Mushroom Street, which is bound to put a smile on your face and has some nice places for food and drinks.
The beach is very nice but very busy, the sea is quite shallow near the beach which would make it ideal for children or to cool off with a paddle.

We have been to Alicante many times as we fly into it on the way to our Casa in Almeria province . I expected it to be a Benidorm type of place, but in fact it is still very Spanish with some beautiful buildings and an air of faded grandeur, Fantastic range of restaurants and shops catering to all tastes. Flower beds are well cared for and bursting with colour. The prom is amazing just to walk along and enjoy the vibe and the buzz ( there was an 8' furry Panda amusing the strollers and doing hugs!) . A stroll along the harbour is a must and a very good bar at the western end near the boat trips is perfect for a glass of wine sitting at the waters edge watching rowers. Love it all!

The location of our front line apartment at Puerto del Mar was the game changer on our break. On the edge of everything, we wasted no time walking needless hours… everything was on our doorstep. This advantage and the great condition of the home was fairly reflected in the price. A great city.. beautiful.
Spotlessly clean, room and bed were excellent very comfortable, and cleaned everyday. Superb Pool area, bar and restaurant they were all excellent, we stayed half board, the choice and quality of food was outstanding.
Ideal location, beach 10 mins walk and 5mins to Tram ride taking you to Alicante or Benidorm and very cheap fare. The staff were friendly and could not do enough for you. Also roof top bar and pool a bonus but unfortunately no open until mid March. Would definitely return and highly recommend the hotel.
I recently stayed at the La Lonja Hotel in Alicante, Spain and I was very impressed/shocked that The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. The breakfast looks delicious but I had only drank a cup of coffee, anyway there was a great selection. The location was great for sightseeing and exploring the city. The hotel also provides complimentary Wi-Fi.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Alicante.
Good location, very close to the station if you want to travel to Alicante city centre. It’s also 5min away walk from the beach, there’s a cafe close by and a grocery store 15min away. Nice communal outdoor area, clean and tidy room.
The area was out of the tourist area and a convenient location for beaches, Alicante and restaurants. Size of hotel room and balcony were amazing, plus views and cocktail barman was just the best.
Location was amazing being literally on the beach. The beach is also the best out of the surround areas. The host was very accommodating and helped us to settle in quickly.
