A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Great place in Besalu. From this hotel it is a short walk to the beautiful old bridge. The room was super clean and the staff is friendly. We had a great stay.

A wonderful hostal in a beautiful location. Our host was so welcoming and really made our stay. Great communication before we arrived including taking our orders for dinner. A
