We had a wonderful stay at this charming property! The home is cute and cozy, exactly what we were looking for in a mountain getaway. The owners were incredibly helpful and nice throughout our visit, making us feel right at home. One of the main reasons we chose this place was that it’s dog-friendly, and it did not disappoint. Our pup loved it as much as we did! The property even offers firewood for purchase on-site, which made enjoying the fireplace so convenient and added to the cozy atmosphere. The location is ideal – close to Sierra Nevada and picturesque villages like Pampaneira and Lanjarón, perfect for day trips and exploring the area. But honestly, the mountain views from the property are so amazing that we were just as happy spending time on the terrace, taking in the stunning scenery. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the mountains, especially if you’re traveling with a dog!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The little house is situated in a beautiful valley, surrounded by trees and nature. This is a place to simply relax but is also close to larger villages. The hosts are really kind and care about their home and the nature that surrounds it. Being off-grid doesn't mean being without comforts though. The little house has everything you could possibly need, including a fridge, gas stove, hot water and very good wi-fi! I wish we could have stayed longer because there was just so much more exploring and relaxing to be done. Not bad things but something to note is that unless you have a 4X4, you can't park in front of the little house. The hosts help you get all your stuff to the front door but after that you only have to take a short walk through beautiful trees and over a bridge to get to your car and back. Also, there will be other guests above or below and if your'e a light sleeper like me, you may need ear plugs to get to sleep. That's just something small and everyone is not as sensitive as I am. It is a wonderful place! And I highly recommend it.

Lovely little flat in Torviscón, comfortable for 5 of us and the dog. We stayed in winter so it was lovely to have the fire going, firewood fully provided. Great base for walks around Sierra de la Contraviesa and for trips to the Alpujarras.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. It’s an old style hotel with a great garden located on the side of a mountain. Our host Victor was very welcoming and knowledgeable and the hotel serves an excellent breakfast.

Stunning location with expansive mountain and sky views. Fabulous sunrise, sunset and starlit skies. Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to the suite which was a nice touch. Excellent dining and bar area. Inside and outside options. Francisco was a first class host and nothing was too much trouble. His evening meal was delicious. Although it was closed the pool and pool area look as if they are a nice addition.
