Ubrique is a nice town, if you like mountains, it has very middle ages kind of out look to the houses, things are simple and have a lot of vegetation, orange tress everywhere, its quite sweet for a short while
Roman Road walk to Benaocaz, museum other historic buildings, and the ruins of the Roman fort of Ocuris on the hill overlooking town are all musts. Ubrique is a good base for exploring nearby "Pueblos Blancos." It's authentically Spanish, not dominated by tourists.
Family run hotel, fresh comfortable rooms with newly fitted bathrooms and rural views, great pool, cafe/ bar seems to be open all day and usual restaurant hours. Breakfast not included but good menu available.
Mrs. Emilia was really nice. She prepared us lemonade, despite she doesn't speek english, google translator solved this problem for us. Everything was clean. Good located near everything imortant in Ubrique
