Being a vegetarian it is tough to find it on the breakfast buffet, but the staff got it prepared every day for us and served us. On the last day we were leaving the hotel at 7:00 A.M in the morning, they packed our breakfast and gave it to us, the previous day it was just mentioned to the staff of the restaurant staff.

The house and facilities are not “charming “ if just quickly glimpsing through but it deserves to slow down and observe. Once you start settling down, it’s easy to be found how comfortable to navigate and use everything. The hosts are very patient about every question I asked. It’s a hidden gem to be discovered.

Wonderful, warm and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. Historic touches everywhere! Clean, quiet rooms and a lovely breakfast. The location at the edge of small town near the hiking trails was perfect for us.

Really enjoyed our overnight stay at this updated farmhouse...

Really enjoyed our overnight stay at this updated farmhouse with working farm and cheesemaking shop. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable, nicely updated but retaining the feel of the original building. Lovely breakfast with best cured meats we've ever had and delicious cheese made on the property. Hosts were warm and friendly (as were the 3 resident outside dogs who were skilled at placing themselves for maximum petting). Quiet, rural setting with pretty views but convenient (with car); drove into town for dinner 10 minutes away, and Monserrat monastery was a short drive the next day.
