Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and a terrace, Pension Residencial Victoria offers accommodations in Santa Cruz de Ribadulla, 9.3 mi from Santiago de Compostela. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Fell ill whilst doing the Camino. Had to cancel my hike and travel by cab whilst my companions walked on. The Victoria let me check in early and get some much needed bed rest and for that I am extremely grateful. The breakfast was excellent.
Pazo Cibrán in San Xulián de Sales features a garden and a bar. The property was built in the 18th century. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Santiago was fully booked (after our Camino walk) so we had to go 7 to 8km out of town but what a blessing it was. The quietness and beautiful grounds. The hosts were just lovely. The rooms for us were perfect and spotless. Breakfast in the morning was divine (6 euros pp). Even though we couldn’t speak Spanish we were able to communicate just fine (thanks google translate and to our friend 😆)
Located in Teo in the Galicia region, A casiña de Esther is an apartment featuring a garden. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Everything was absolutely perfect! The apartment was comfortable, exquisitely decorated and fully furnished. It was well stocked with breakfast supplies and spices. It had a lovely terrace and even a small vegetable garden that we could use at will, as well as a closed and independent garage. The owners were lovely, providing us with all kind of information about restaurants and places to visit. It is actually very close to plenty of restaurants and supermarkets and it is only a 15 minutes’ drive to Santiago de Compostela. I highly advise this accommodation!
Vedra is a very beautiful and welcoming place, unfortunately it was raining for the evening and so the old town was very quiet and a little disappointing. The food was good but the same basic ingredients everywhere.
The location was great, a 10 minute drive to Santiago. A lovely base from which to sightsee and then return for a short siesta before a superb dinner on site. Likewise, the breakfasts were way above the average. The character and décor of the building made it feel very special. The quality of the superb Albarino wine, and the local, fresh food was a real bonus. The host Manolo was a pleasure to deal with. I totally agree with all the previous positive reviews.
This is a lovely and welcoming rural house with a very calm environment and wonderful hosts. Not near the Camino de la Plata, in case you are doing that walk. But otherwise, a taxi will take you there and the food and ambiance is excelent
