We were there to photograph the unique Flysch rocks on the coast; other love it for sun and surfing. The beach looked like it would be great for swimming in summer, with a wide crescent and a long stretch of shallow water to play in. Too many restaurants were closed for vacations or pre-season timing to give a fair evaluation of the dining options, but we can recommend the gin tonics at a bar just off the public square.
Great little restaurants and bars all over. Beach a bit of a trek. If it's sunny, take your own parasol (or sit by the sea wall for shade). Sea has a little seaweed on one side of beach. Lovely little beach cafe at the back of the beach for the late afternoon (or any time) drink. Very pretty town.
Staying on the water was so nice. We enjoyed walking around town, doing some shopping and eating tapas at the bar. Very nice town for strolling.Hiking up the mountain trail by our hotel was fun for my brother in law. The rest of us enjoyed the beautiful coastal town scenery from the car. What a gorgeous ride that was. We spent the whole day just driving through little beach towns, down winding one lane roads.

Ideal stopping place for traversing countries. The staff is familiar, very friendly and helpful. Thehouse and the rooms are simply gorgeous and endlessly charming. I required some special treatment as i wanted to sleep during the day and check outduring the night. Not a problem for this trusting staff. Personal Hotel service at its very best. Dragonstone beach is very near, which is a nice bonus visit if you have a couple of spare hours.

Location, location, location. Overlooking fantastic beach and easy access to cliffside hiking. Included use of large saltwater spa which was great for our rainy day. We had a very nice room with great views. Underground parking in hotel was helpful. Nice patio for dining. We enjoyed the meals and had a breakfast , lunch, and dinner there. Very friendly check-in staff (Christos).

Veronica the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful with regard to explaining where to eat and what to do and see in Zumaia. We used our stay as a base to see San Sebastián (20mins by car) and it worked out great for us. Zumaia itself is a great little town with everywhere to eat / see within walking distance (1 km) from the apartment.
The host met us on arrival and was very welcoming and informative about the apartment and the local area. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Zumaia is a lovely town with a great beach - especially if you like a good rock formation. The whole area is lovely and a delight to explore - I wish we’d had longer.

We very much appreciated our stay at this peaceful B&B in a beutifully decorated house with a view, situated a 15 min walk from Zumaia town center - away from traffic and noise. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. We were served a high quality breakfast with e g fresh orange juice, fruit and home made bread.

Very quiet location despite being basically in the (lovely) town of Zumaia. Modern and well organized.
