Such a beautiful and tranquil location. The room was fantastic, very comfortable and mosquito net on the window which was great. Of course there is not much near by but that is the appeal. We cooked in the kitchen area where there is a hot plate and oven etc. all crockery is there to use as is a swim in the lake and a sauna! Highly recommend this place. Lovely people that run it too. We had to leave too early for breakfast sadly.

Boasting a sauna, Tiirantuvat is situated in Juankoski. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The holiday home has family rooms.

I love guesthouses like this, owned by a small local family business in the Finnish countryside. Idyllic lakeside location, wood-fired sauna, fireplace, terrace. Despite the fact that the cottage is not brand new, you can see that the owners take good care of it, so that the guests have everything they need for their stay.

Host is super nice, village is pretty. There's cafe by lake, organic farm shop, local grocery store and book/clothes exchange. Facilities have old skool Finnish charm but don't expect luxury. Everything works and it was spotless. I would recommend this location to all motorcycle travellers, safe and plenty of parking. And a bar!

Boasting a sauna, Villa Nina is situated in Luikonlahti. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The villa has a barbecue and a sauna.

The house is just beautiful, even better than in the pictures. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook, check in process is very easy, the location is remote but so peaceful and quiet. The lake is just behind the house, there is a little row boat also. We loved our stay and it is pet friendly so a big bonus! One of the best accomodations there is on this website. I’d go back in a heartbeat. And hopefully will very soon..
