We visited in July and had a perfect, peaceful stay. The mökkis were fully equipped and very comfortable. The surroundings are beautifully maintained, yet still preserve the charm of Finnish nature – we loved the clean shore, the calm atmosphere, and the easy access to boats. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful – they even lent their personal fishing rod to our son so he could try fishing. Everything was just lovely. We’d love to come back

Very charming & relaxing place in the middle of nature. Hosts welcomed us at our arrival and even offered us a housing upgrade for a few extra since their bigger location was vacant. They also invited us for dinner and we had a lovely evening with them using Google Trad to understand each other. The place was very clean and well equipped, we definitely recommend this place!

    Nice little corner of the lakeland area.

    Nice little corner of the lakeland area. Great for nature walks and water activities. The whole area felt very peaceful and I hope we can come back another time. On the Saimaa geopark website you can find some nice walks and things to do in the area but if you like forests and lakes and quiet surroundings you’ll be good here no matter where you go.

    Breathtaking views of lakes and islands, quietness, massive pine forests, excellent roads, a trove for nature lovers and for those who look for quiet comfort and sauna. In spite of lack of electricity, the internet is flawless.

    We loved the location of the cottage- a snowy retreat in a heart of Puumala. The view from the cottage is stunning. A lake and bbq place is right next to the cottage. Wooden sauna and a fire place made our stay cosy and gave a true sense of cabin life feel:)

    Location was perfect and very peaceful. There was a pier to jump off from and also a little beach. There were also boats you could take to go into the lake. It’s very close to Puumala by car, where there are supermarkets and restaurants. Overall 10/10.

    The dinner here was outstanding ! We were here at the end of the summer season so many things were closed but the kids enjoyed the paddleball court and we enjoyed walking around the property and hiking around Puumala.
