One of the most amazing stays we have ever had as a family - the place was cosy, clean and had all the best facilities (sauna, BBQ) and had such an incredible view of Lake Saimaa. The couple who owned the place was also very welcoming and hospitable and made our stay extra special.

We stumbled upon this place completely by chance while traveling from Hungary. It was a very pleasant surprise, with wonderfully situated log cabins in the woods, a beautiful lakeside setting, and a well-equipped kitchen with a grill and a bathroom. We’d love to come back here anytime. The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Nice little corner of the lakeland area.

Nice little corner of the lakeland area. Great for nature walks and water activities. The whole area felt very peaceful and I hope we can come back another time. On the Saimaa geopark website you can find some nice walks and things to do in the area but if you like forests and lakes and quiet surroundings you’ll be good here no matter where you go.

Breathtaking views of lakes and islands, quietness, massive pine forests, excellent roads, a trove for nature lovers and for those who look for quiet comfort and sauna. In spite of lack of electricity, the internet is flawless.

We had an independent villa by the lake with a private beach. The villa was excellent with a sauna and nice porch overlooking the lake. The resort's location is good with a Puumala being a 6 minutes drive and the resort is right next to the lake and with some good walking trails nearby. The breakfast was great and was at the restaurant overlooking the lake. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at their restaurant.

Location was perfect and very peaceful. There was a pier to jump off from and also a little beach. There were also boats you could take to go into the lake. It’s very close to Puumala by car, where there are supermarkets and restaurants. Overall 10/10.

The dinner here was outstanding ! We were here at the end of the summer season so many things were closed but the kids enjoyed the paddleball court and we enjoyed walking around the property and hiking around Puumala.

Pretty location. Quite a walk from the cabin to the building with the shared showers and toilets. Limited food options on site, but relatively close to Puumala centre.
