Offering an outdoor pool and sun terrace, Naveria Heights Lodge is set in Savusavu. Guests can enjoy stunning panoramic ocean views. The whole experience at the lodge was fantastic, full of care, attention and nice little touches. It's just a short walk into town and there are some great food options and a little wine shop with a surprisingly wide selection. From the plunge pool and the sun deck to the amazing views, to the delicious healthy food every day, to the friendly team and especially lodge dog, Zeus. Sharon also has some great local contacts that provide the opportunity to enjoy some amazing excursions - we did the stand-up paddle board, a horse ride, lunch at a local village (with a little rugby on the beach!) followed by a visit to a secret geothermal hot spring. She goes out of her way to make sure you're taken care of, and even took us on a hike of the local area sharing her knowledge on the various Fijian flora and fauna we encountered.

Boasting water views of the emerald green river, Salt Lake Lodge features a a shared fully equipped kitchen and BBQ facilities. It is 20 minutes’ drive from Savusavu Airport. Our stay at Salt Lake Lodge definitely exceeded our expectations! As there were only a couple of rooms, it felt like a very personal experience. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and spacious and the included breakfast was amazing! Oscar the chef can basically cook anything you can buy from the Savu Savu markets. The rest of the staff, Solo, Simon, Mary, Lily, Oscar x 2 we all super personable and felt like friends in the short time we were there!

Gingerbread Cottage and Studio Fiji is located in Savusavu and offers free bikes, a garden and water sports facilities. Very clean , good for kids , my kids love it
Savusavu is a fantastic place to visit. It's hard to believe how laid back and friendly everyone is. Plenty of interesting places to visit. Most things are very reasonably priced, particularly restaurants, and taxis are a bargain! No pushy vendors like you find in Nadi or Suva. It truly is the "Hidden Paradise" and I highly recommend a visit
It's a beautiful remote area. There is a lot of development going on and they are providing a lot for tourist. Still it's looking very natural. The village Savusavu is actually not really nice. But the surrounding is stunning. I went there for diving. I did my dive with Koro Sun and it was just amazing.
Savusavu was ideal for us. The town has everything you need and not so big you feel overwhelmed, just right. The snorkeling in the area is great. Of course as with Fiji in general the people are so friendly!
Beauitful scenery. Vuadomo waterfall is a must see. Make sure to take some kava and present to the village chief/leader for fijian ceremony called sevusevu. After that you pay $10FJD per person and a guide will go with you to waterfall. From savusavu town it takes 20 to 30 minutes drive. There will be a sign board on right hand side if you driving towards labasa written as Vuadomo Village you turn on left and drive in.
Savusavu is a beautiful time capsul though there is evidence of change coming. There is a hire car company in the town, and buses that can take you to Labasa the Capital of Vanua Levu. Grace Kitchen and the Copra Shed were the two places I ate. Another I have used on other occasions are surf and turf. The Hot Springs are a fascinating feature of Savusavu. Locals use them for cooking
Favourite place was the local market, the chicken curry roti (F$1.50 each)obtained from a little shop next to the market. There is a bakery next to the market that bakes daily, but get in quick as they are practically sold out by 1pm. Fresh fruit juice at the local market. Take an empty water bottle to fill up and take away (F$5 for 1.5lts) or F$1 for a cup. It is easy to get around, obviously a hat and sunscreen are essential when walking. Everything you need to access is within walking distance. Or Taxis are reasonable, but best negotiate and agree on your price first with the drivers.

There wasn't much option and had to choose food before hand, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel is located in a place where there are not many places to choose to eat from. It is not what it shows in the photos, it is not in the sea but sea is close by and can't view any sea from your rooms.
