A great hotel in a beautiful area. The owners spoke English and were very friendly and personable . Both dinner and breakfast were very fresh and tasty. The room was clean and fresh, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was user friendly with a bath but also a separate shower. The hotel also provided a secure car park.

Beautiful unspoilt old mill, well renovated,in the Alagnon River gorge,with wonderful trees and wild flowers. Run by the very welcoming Ibrahim, we enjoyed his hospitality very much. We had dinner with him and his delightful family and one other guest, a cyclist from Freiburg. Delicious homemade food using local produce - including acacia flower beignets for desert.

We booked the accommodation based on its location, we were in Vias for a week and needed to have stop over before the journey to Calais. Unfortunately, the lady didn’t speak any English, so this was difficult when asking her some questions about the pool. Sadly, the pool was not open, and hadn’t been open since September last year, we were not notified about this. Please bear in mind one of the reasons booking this was the pool, as it was 34 degrees that week. Our children were very disappointed. We couldn’t access the River, and it was all over grown, I thought there would be some sort of area where the children could paddle as there was no pool, but this was not the case. The property was very quiet, and I wish I took my time in booking somewhere a bit more fun.
