Located in Audierne, opposite the beach, Au roi Gradlon offers a bar, restaurant and luggage storage. All rooms have a sea view and the Pointe du Raz Promontory is only 9.3 mi away. Absolutely perfect location on the beach. We had a room on the top floor with own terrace. Just loved sitting out there or letting the breeze into the room. Good value for money. Good breakfast & quality restaurant with friendly staff.

Excellent position for exploring the coastal area and reserves along this stretch of coast. good choice of restaurants - we had excellent meals and a lovely little port/harbour. Not pretentious, not only for tourists, you felt as if it is a place people live and work all year round.
Britanny in general and Audierne in particular is my favourite place in France so when travelling back home via Roscoff we stopped an extra night to revisit. We have spent many holidays in the vicinity of Audierne over the years. The prompts in the “tips for a great review” such as “what are great activities for young couples like you.” were amusing as I’ve already exceeded my three score years and ten by some way!
Staff - hotel room very good - cleanliness exceptional. Shower needed attention which was pointed out to member of staff. Audiierne is a lovely French town With plenty of restaurants some not that good but all in walking distance from hotel. Saturday market interesting.
Genuine Breton fishing harbour with restaurants, bars and boulangerie etc. Le Goyen is THE place for gastronomes - do not miss the Pacific oysters finished at the Isle de Sein, and any/all of their fish.
My wife and I love South and West Brittany. Audierne did not disappoint us. A busy harbour front with bistros for a relaxed coffee or meal. lovely clean beaches in area. Plenty of areas to park car. Enjoyed eating at the Grand Large, a restaurant ,on point over looking beach. We will be back.
Lovely seaside venue but I would recommend that May is not the best month to visit if you want a bustling port as not the majority of restaurant or bars are open so you do not get the best of choices.
A super overnight stay at the end of 5 days walking ending in Audierne. Herve very kindly gave a us a lift to help us complete the last stage of our walking holiday. The breakfast was wonderful and we got a picnic of homemake crepes to take on our way. He really went out of his way to make our stay the best possible. A super Host and a lovely home.
Position of hotel, easy to find great view of harbour. Staff very helpful and welcoming, especially Anne and Nicholas on reception.. Excellent food on dinner menu. Good breakfast which I had in my room and that was not a problem for staff to do that. Good Covid regulations. Was able to park easily at the front of the hotel free.
Good location, quiet but not far from the harbour, with a nice garden and common area. Our room was cosy and clean room and the bathroom was very functional. Lydie was a very nice host, cooked a delicious breakfast, and gave us good advice for walks and local restaurants (I only wish the Bar Breton was open during our stay!).
This hotel was perfect for us. its position is perfect and close enough to walk into town, as well as to investigate the coastal path. the breakfast was copious and with lots of choice. Dinner was quite expensive but very good and beautifully presented by pleasant staff.
I've stayed at La Quincaillerie a number of times now and in my opinion it's the absolutely best hotel I have ever visited. I cannot fault it in any way and always feel welcome and happy there. Really that says it all.
Warm welcome by the owners. The rooms are very clean and recently renovated. The dinner was very good prepared with fresh local products. Conveniently located near Audierne and close to Point du Raz
