A pretty village that deserves to be renovated and showcased...

A pretty village that deserves to be renovated and showcased more. There are some good restaurants in Bazas and a very good ice cream parlor (Baltoro) or in Villandraut (L'Escale in particular, with its terrace overlooking the Ciron river). Easy access to vineyards, the Arcachon Basin, the forest, and outdoor activities.

Our overnight stay here was a wonderful experience, not just a place to sleep. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Our accommodation was like a suite with sitting room, huge bedroom and bathroom. We had a fabulous breakfast in the dining room although there’s the option to have it in your room. Parking was on site and it was a short walk into the centre of Bazas, which is a gorgeous little town. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Delightful stay in a delightful town We spent a Friday and Monday in early November. An excellent hotel, good rooms, great location, excellent breakfast. Above all, a really charming and helpful owner with great recommendations. We were there a Monday with restaurants closed. We said we'd get something from the supermarket to eat and she prepared the table in the breakfast room. Going above and beyond.

The property is quite impressive, a beautiful chateau with private parking and swimming pool. The host was nice, beds were comfortable, there's a TV in the room and the breakfast was nice too. It was a very hot day and we had arrived in Bazas around 2pm, so having the chance to go for a swim was very much appreciated.

Lovely location with large gardens. Hotel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Large busy restaurant but the food was very good. Excellent location close to the town centre and the cathedral.
